Thank you for taking the time to investigate this case further.  This issue arose when the insured was asked to bring in a valid document of his grades from school, unfortunately without luck the documents weren't received in time.  The insured had been contacted on several occasions, both...

he and his mother (who is the first named insured), but the document wasn't brought into until 8/19/2016.  This caused an increase for the month of 8/17/2016 payment.  The discount was not applied, as the document hadn't been received.  Our company works on a system of triggers.  The company sets up triggers for discounts, and if a document isn't received in time, it trigger a rejection of a discount, that is what occurred here.  Had the insured provided the good student grades, the trigger would've been satisfied and a removal of a discount wouldn't have occurred.  That is the explanation as to why there was an increase on the monthly billing.      As of today, the increase has been resolved.  Only, the company couldn't refund the insured the amount that was drafted from his account, as he requested.  They instead have credited the insured the 9/17/2016 month and 10/17/2016 month of premium.  His insurance is valid until 10/16/2016 per the insured's request.  Calculations are still being figured for the month of 10/17/2016, but you can see with the attached notes from 'Company Notes', that the company is going to grant a credit of $240.69 to satisfy the entire balance.  This issue has been resolved with much patience and Farmers has done it's due diligence to satisfy the customers needs.  The issue could've been prevented had the insured provided documentation when it was requested, but we're happy to help him at any circumstance.  Also, the insured was very quick to react to the situation, even though we were trying to resolve the situation for him.      I will contact the insured to advise him of the satisfied balance.    If anything else is needed, please let me know.  Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter.
