Firm does not return phone calls nor has completed paper work that was only suppose to take two weeks..now it has been 6 months.

My brother and I went to see [redacted] after waiting two weeks to get an appointment to get paper work handled so our mother could go to a nursing home instead of being cared for at home. He assisted us in tell us what we need to do and what he would do and we did what we were suppose to do and he has not done anything. He wanted payment up front of [redacted] we paid that and he has never completed the job we hired him to do..after several promises that it would be done. This firm does not answer the phone nor return messages left. We have no faith in this man to get anything done for us and if he is not going to do what he said then he needs to return our money so we can go else where to have this paperwork done. I have spoke to his secretary or para legal several time and no return calls. Was promised by the office manager that it would be done..still nothing. How long do we have to wait for someone to do their job?
