I have spoken to the colorist who provided the serviceShe specifically stated that she had a conversation with the client in regards to the fact that the double pigmented Reds do stain the skin and scalp because she was concerned about it being a holiday weekendShe did apply a stain guard on the
clients skin to provide as much protection as possible however there is no way to prevent the clients hair from touching the ears and some of the perimeter to a certain degreeIt is not typical that all colors stain however when you are dealing with a double pigmented Red such as was used in this case this will happen and as the client was notified it will go away in a couple of shampoosTwo attempts to remove the stains from the clients skin were made before the client left the salonUpon calling after she left another offer to do the same was made however if she were to return she was told that our only option was to do the same thing that was done while she was here which was to use the stain remover we have which had not lifted the color at that point which it typical with the double pigmented Reds.
An email was sent after closing on Saturday which was received Monday morning upon our return of business which was responded to right awayAn offer to replace her shirt was madeThe only option for the color stains on the skin truly is that it will go away within a few shampoos.
I am so sorry if there was a breakdown of communication between the client, colorist and the client's motherThe colorist felt comfortable communicating with the client due to her age and did not include her mother in the consultation before starting the service.
In the email and phone calls we received there were no complaints at all about the color itself, just the fact that it stains the skin which cannot be helped.
