Review: I purchased a 2010 Toyota Corolla from this business late September of this year. A few weeks after purchasing the vehicle my bumper was backed into in a parking lot. I took it in for repair and received a call from the body shop that my vehicle showed clear signs that it had been in a head on collision. My car was so unsafe that I could not get it back until I paid for them to repair it. The body shop said it was clearly unrelated to the small dent in my bumper. When I purchased the car it had no visible signs to the bumper or the hood that it had been in such a severe accident. It has now been two weeks since I initally contacted the delaer and they are not moving forward with reimbursing me for the cost. The final bill only ended up being $530.35. My bigger issue with this is that the dealer's sister buys cars from California and ships them to northern Wisconsin to sell. I am very suspiscous now that this is their scam. They buy car's there and fix them up on the exterior, all the while unknowing victims in Wisconsin are driving around in vehicles that could cause them major harm if they get in an accident. I did run a car fax before purchase which came back clear and that is also what the dealer is claiming, but I would feel much better if the Revdex.com did an investigation to make sure they don't knowingly use this business practice.Desired Settlement: I understand that buying a used car means it is not brand new, however I was sold this vehicle with the expectation that it was safe and had not been in a major accident. It would be nice to get reimbursement for the $530.35. More importantly I just want the investigation - had I not gotten a dent in the corner of my bumper I would have no idea anything was wrong with my car. As a dealer they should be held a higher expectation than if I bought this car from a private party seller.

I have taken much pride in serving the community for over the last 14 years. Until now we

have not had a situation that required us to preserve our valued reputation with your.Bureau.

Ms [redacted] has made inflamatory and slandering false accusations.

Mid City sells quality pre-owned vehicles and specialize in California Cars. Each vehicle is

serviced and safety inspected per Wisconsins Department of Transportation standards.

There was no knowledge of anything "unsafe" prior to the customers claim. At the time Ms

[redacted] purchased the vehicle there were no visual or known damage to the bumper.

The vehicle was sold on September 18 2013. Ms [redacted] was a satisfied customer for a 1

1/2 months until her car was involved in an unfortunate accident requiring repair work. She

contacted us October 30 2013 demanding that we pay for the repair.

It is not realistic we are responsible for her bill.
