I am reviewing this situation however I never talked with this person nor his wifeThe unit appears to have been installed incorrectly which caused the lamp to short outThe connector from the ballast to the lamp was not seated properly upon installation and when the electricity was applied, it shorted out the connection which in turn shorted out the lamp.We have the unit here and I personally looked at it and it was improperly installedHowever, we never want an unhappy customer so if we have been paid and they haven't issued a complaint to the credit card company, we will issue a refundI will have to look into this as wellI believe we will have to issue the refund to their credit card but if not we will cut a check to themPlease let me know if there are any other questionsregards;Meredith C.S
