Review: I hired Mr. Q[redacted] to build a deck for me in July of 2015. After signing the contract I gave him $3,000 in materials to order and start the job in two weeks. After a month and several excuses he claims he gave my money to a lumber supplier who had been embezzling from the company and was fired. There was no record of the monetary exchange between Mr. Q[redacted] and the employee. Then after numerous excuses in which he could not build the deck, an agreement was made that he would pay me back in November 2015 of $500 per week with 10% interest. He started making small payments, but eventually said he could not make any more. The balance kept increasing and he refuses to make any additional payments to recoup the loss I incurred. it is May 2016 and he still owes me $1,800. Please Help!!!Desired Settlement: I would like for him to pay me back the money he stole from me and move on.
