Mills Fleet Farm Reviews (%countItem)

We purchased a riding lawnmower at the Fleet Farm in Plymouth, WI. When we went to pick it up the next day and started it to get it on the trailer it was blowing out a terrific amount of black smoke. We decided not to take it and tried to get the store to work with us to get a different lawnmower. The manager initially refused to acknowledge that there was a problem, blaming us for misusing the machine. When she finally grasped that we had not even taken it five feet from the point of origin, she "disappeared", refusing to answer the employee's phone calls. We finally returned the faulty lawnmower for a refund and left the store without purchasing another from them. Probably for the best! It turns out that they sold us a refurbished lawnmower under the guise of new which makes me wonder how well it was refurbished and what they would have charged for the badly refurbished one. One bonus though, the employees were terrific to work with.

Went to Fleet Farm in Brooklyn Park, MN to purchase a water softner. After standing around for 20 minutes trying to get someone to help me, I went online only to find it is $70 cheaper online. Went ahead and made the purchase online and then went to customer service to pick it up.

The woman at the counter starts out by shaking her head and raising her voice to me saying I need to give them 4 hours before I can pick it up. I asked what if I had come in and purchased it instead of going online, no answer. She continued to argue that I should not have come in to pick the softner up yet. Then another person comes up and starts in with the same thing.

Finally they radio someone in the warehouse to pull the product and they go off that I should not have been there yet.

I don't think Mills Fleet Farm is set up for the modern era of online shopping but a thank you for the purchase might have been nice.

I believe Mills Fleet Farm is engaging in false advertising and possible fraud. We purchased what was advertised as "top soil". When we got home and my wife began spreading it around the yard it became very apparent that this supposed "top soil" product was mostly wood chips. It was more mulch than enriched dirt which I believe is true top soil.
I believe any top soil in the bagged product is minimal and Mills Fleet Farm is cutting the product (top soil) to achieve greater profit. I don't know what the ratio, if any, there is where the product can still be called top soil yet not be at a high ratio of top soil to a low ratio of chips but our purchase was not dirt.
This should be looked into so the consumer is not buying something contrary to what is being advertised.

If you're going to sell Ariens snowblower or any other gas run equipment, PLEASE stock their parts' Like skids (shoes, Belts, etc, etc,. ALSO, please hire more people to be ouy on the floor to answer questions

GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY OF FALSE ADVERTISING !!!!! In flyer when it comes out on Friday--- out of stock online--- not in the store we shop at. Does NOT state NOT available online or in the store. They have NO idea when they will be in ----THEN DO NOT ADVERTISE SOMETHING IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT !!!! WILL NOT SHIP FROM STORE TO STORE !!!!! FLEET FARM IS VERY GUILTY OF CUSTOMER NO SERVICE !!!!!!

made and error in my shipping and billing address and company REFUSED to honer the prices when I called them and explained the situation. Brian the manager said, "hands are tied".

HERSHEY REESES’S PEANUT BUTTER HEART - 1 LB. is on clearance for 75% off, but you can't even buy it for the savings you're supposed to get unless you buy like 50 of them. Then I guess it's worth it... They won't waive the $7.99 shipping charge... I'm buying something from them that costs $2.74!!! Not to mention, it does not cost them anywhere near $7.99 to ship out a one pound item. Are they freaking serious?!?? This lady Sherri, who seems to be the only person who works for Customer Service.. who answers the phone at every single extenstion you dial... has a crappy attitude and clearly cares less whether or not the company gains, keeps, or loses customers... "Yeah, we're not offering anything at the moment." "But your website says free shipping." "That page is expired." "But it was still up." "The page expired." "What if I buy 50 of them, can you waive the shipping for me then?" "Yeah, we just don't do that." "Well I just won't buy anything then." "Ok. Have a good day"... Christ! I could've told the witch she was on fire and she would've just been like, "Oh, okay"... Unbelievable! And they wonder why they don't have many customers compared to other similar online retailers. They obviously don't if they have one freakin lady running everything (I personally will never shop here in the future). And they probably also wonder why they can't get rid of this item at 75% off... They'll probably mark it all the way down to 90% off and they still won't be able to get rid of it. lol All because of their ridiculous $7.99 shipping charge. No matter how small... OR big!

I've purchased twice and both times received order quick and had no issues.

I purchased a Kerosine Heater from this retailer and was able to get a heck of a deal on it. I was also able to get free shipping due to the amount of the purchase and an advertisement for Black Friday. On Tuesday, I had not gotten any other updates other than my initial purchase confirmation. So I called customer service, who was excellent. She explained that they were processing a large amount of online orders and even gave me the update where my product was and when to expect it to ship out. She was exactly correct on the time frames and even assured me that it would not be a backordered item, due to having enough stock. I received my item in mint condition on the following Friday, exactly one week after ordering it. I could not be happier with the purchase, and with using Mills Fleet Farm. I will definitely keep them in mind the next time I am looking for similar items.

I called the store to follow up on my order. Tracking said it was delivered but I never got the item. The post office didnt recognize the tracking number. Turns out it was Fed Ex. I spoke with Rebecca who was not very impressive. They made me purchase a whole new item and said they cant refund me for the first one under they receive it back. They said it was shipped to a home in a town 40 minutes from me. When I asked if they could at least expedite the shipping since this wasnt my fault they said no and wanted to charge me. While I was ordering the 2nd item, the computer was running slow. She kept apologizing but was full of excuses. She kept saying how busy it was.... so am I and I dont have money to keep buying the same product! Some people dont know how to take care of their customers. Will not be returning. All I hope is this doesnt turn into a bigger problem and I get my refund. NOT HAPPY.

Fleet Farm consistently runs ads and runs out of merchandise. This has happened to me many times. The two latest incidents: stopped on a Mon. to get some 5.56 ammo from ad on Sat. Their reply "I guess we're out" Past week stopped in on Sun. to purchase AR15 listed in Sat. ad for $399. Their reply, "Just sold last one. You can get a rain check at CS but I don't know if we will get any more" I got a rain check and have not heard a peep from them. My advice: Go somewhere else and don't waste time and gas thinking you will get an ad item at Fleet Farm. Alternatively you could camp out by door Fri. so you have a shot of getting one of the 2 or 3 items they have. Poor, poor, place to shop. What they are doing should be illegal.

Ripped me off on shipping charges. Tried to return item won't pay for shipping.

These company is awful. I placed an order on Friday afternoon, Called Tuesday morning (as Monday was Memorial Day) to cancel the order since I hadn't even received tracking information over the weekend and I was told "once it's sent to one of OUR OWN warehouses, the order can't be cancelled and the customer is responsible for return shipping". I think if the item is still in your possession and you offer a 60-day money back guarantee, I shouldn't even be going through this right now. I'd give zero stars if possible. Now I have to wait to receive the box (probably two weeks from now based on the service I've received so far) and then pay for and print out my own ups shipping label and wait for it to get back to them to be processed for a refund. I probably won't see my money for a month or so. Great Service Mills Fleet Farm, NOT!! I will never recommend to anybody.
