progress.  At no time did my hostess give consent for them to skip out on their bill.  I was able to bring them back into the restaurant to discuss this issue. The complainant did raise her concerns about the food’s quality but never discussed any of the sanitation issues that she raised in her initial statement to the Revdex.com.  She did state that the food was “cold and dry” to me and by now the discussion was heated and had gained the attention of the twenty five patrons within earshot.  I asked the customers if any of them had concerns with the food.  None came forward.  In fact, most of them stated that the food was very good. In regards to the sanitation issues, as I said before, this was not brought to my attention.  None of our cooks bring the food directly to the buffet line.  I have copies of our health inspections going back as far as 2012.  All of the scores are in the 90s with a couple of perfect scores.  I can provide you copies of our inspections to refute her claims that our food is not safe.  Furthermore, the amount she is seeking for a refund is not correct; the cost for two adult buffets with a soda is $23.50.  In summary, I do not think a refund is warranted.  Had the complainant approached me before deciding to walk out, I would have been more amenable to a settlement.  I have multiple witnesses who are willing to back up my account that night.  Thank you for your consideration

I am rejecting this response because: I did bring the concerns to the waiter when he took brought our drinks. I also told the hostess who was a young high school girl. She told me she would alert management. They did ask me to come in and talk it over, but there was no talking. They demanded payment or they were calling the police. I asked if I could pay for drinks and for the rice my son ate. They said no you pay full amount. Then I said can I pay for one buffet because my son ate rice they said no you pay full amount. There was no talking it was there way or they call police. They are correct the amount was $23.50 my mistake.There was no discussion it was pay or they call the police. I laid out other solutions. I wasn't trying to not pay anything.  I was not satisfied with food and brought my concerns to 5 people and I offered solutions. They refused all and threatened calling police. I have contacted State health department as well.  I would like refund of $23.50.
