Review: We were in constant communication with the female co-owner, [redacted], in regards to how much we would be charged for their services. We were assured by her many times that the bill would not be much and she would "massage" the numbers to keep cost down.We were led to believe the cost would be no more than $800. We received a bill for $2,512.20. We never authorized that kind of amount. We have called 3 seperate times, Aug 13th, Aug. 20th and Sept. 4th. They have never called us back to discuss what is happening. I mailed a check to them for $150.00 with a letter asking them to call us and explaining that we are very upset about this extravagant charge. They wrote us back demanding the amount and stating we will be charged finance and late fees if we don't pay up by December. They are now refusing to honor what they told us. We need help in resolving this matter. They are stretching their amount of hours spent on the job at a cost of $125 an hour to a ridiculous amount. They are not calling us back because they know they are wrong and they are lying to us and trying to steal our money. We are willing to pay for work done that we agreed to in a fair and honest manner.Desired Settlement: We are not willing to pay more than half what they have charged. They were fully aware of our concern of how much this was going to be and continually assured us it would be low and they lied. The parts they are charging us for came to $370.00 and they are charging us $2000 in labor. We have sent them $150.00. We are willing to send an additional $1,220.00 and never deal with them again.
