Mizzell's Land Services

My husband and I hire Mizzell's Land Service, LLC to clear our land to build a home. The owner received two payments which was a total of $5600. (We have two contracts) Mr. Mizzell was to clear .5 acres, burn debris and root rake. The contract stated would not exceed 30 days. Mr. Mizzell was paid in full, but did not complete the job. .5 acres was not cleared, he did not finish burning debris, debris were left in the road and he did not root rake. After multiple attempts to get a date of when the job would be complete, our land in that condition for roughly 74 days and our builder advising us to complete the job to avoid more damage, we had to hire another contractor to complete the job on our property.
