Just wanted to let you know how unprofessional [redacted] from NE Fire Safety was last night, September 25, 2016, during a fire safety presentation at [redacted] in [redacted] My husband and I attended with my parents, joining them for what we thought would be a pleasant, informational eveningIt started out with [redacted] being rude to a women at our table when she asked when dinner would be served, he abruptly told her "dinner will be after the presentation and don't interrupt me again!" We were all a little shocked by his statement but continued on with our eveningHe proceeded and I commented on something he said and the people at my table laughed....he walked over and rudely asked them to leaveWe were again shocked by his rudenessHe proceeded with the presentation and then at our table set some steel wool on fire and my husband was concerned so he asked my mother to pour water on it...we were rudely asked to leaveI was concerned about my elderly parents and returned later to check on them....he again rudely asked me to leave and I told my parents not to buy anything from this [redacted] [redacted] then gave me the finger as I was leavingWe complained to the restaurant manager and he said he would not host this company again...whether they do or not is not up to me but to have a representative of your company treat people that way is totally unacceptableI will make sure I spread the word and encourage people not to buy products from this company
We attended the fire safety presentation and were impressed with the very professional manner in which it was presented The provided dinner was very good and we even won a door prize The main take away I had was the failure rate of most smoke detectors sold in hardware and home supply stores is I was shocked and convinced we needed to install something much better We invited the company to come to our home and evaluate what they thought we neededWe agreed with their assessment and purchased the equipment The units are not inexpensive but are extremely reliable and talk to each other over a networkAfter installation I contacted my insurance company and was given an $reduction in our home owners policy The installation process was smooth and was done very professionally

My wife and I received an invitation to attend a presentation by the N.EFire Safety companyDinner was provided free and couples attendedThe man running the session was very informative but too much emphasis was placed on people hurt or killed in home firesHis presentation was repetitive and frankly too heavy handedMany of the couples were elderly (80+) and his used 'scare' tactics to sell his productAlso, he would not disclose the coast unless we agreed to a 'home visit'
Called for service on my *** *** smoke alarm system which was sold and installed by this companyI paid over $for the original installation.I had spoken to the manufacturer of the system previous to calling the installer and they said I should receive no charge for the service callWhen I called the service technician he gave me several days that he could come, and he determined that Sunday the 21st of May was the best date
He did come to my home and service the unit ,and charged me $, he said that if my system was not the brand he sold he would have to charge meI assured him that I bought the system from NewEngland Fire SafetyHe still chargedme $He was then very rude claiming that I had inconvenienced him by making him come on Sunday and taken him away from his familyI reiterated that in our previous discussion he had a choice of days to come to my home and service the equipment
