I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[Receipt from the other dealer was found. Proper repairs were made at Cerritos Acura. The Service Manager stated that after keeping the car for a day and trying to reproduce the sound was unsuccessful, but that he had the mechanic take the breaking system apart, put back again and was noted on the receipt that the breaks that were placed by the other Acura service were not genuine Acura breaks. Instead, "after market" breaks were placed. We expected to get genuine Acura parts, not second hand parts. Otherwise we would have paid less at a "mom and pop shop" for cheap service. The grinding sound that was heard by DCH Tustin Acura service mechanic was resolved by the Cerritos Acura service mechanic.As the consumer, we feel were cheated out of the Genuine Acura breaks and much time wasted going back and forth 4 different times to have the issue resolved. We would like a full refund of services paid to DCH for the poor service back to our account. Receipt from original date of break service did not state that DCH would be using non-Acura parts on the break service and [redacted], from DCH stated over the phone that he was unaware that non-genuine parts were being used.]

I am sorry to hear about the information you received from Cerritos Acura regarding our repair to your vehicle. I had done some investigation regarding your concern prior to seeing your response and the information you received from Cerritos Acura is incorrect. [redacted], I contacted Mr. [redacted] on 8/29/17 and spoke to him regarding his concern. Mr. [redacted] informed me that he had another dealer do some repair to his vehicle related to the noise concern. In an effort to determine the cause of the noise I asked him if he could supply me with a receipt to...
show me what the repairs were. Mr. [redacted] was not sure if he knew where the receipt was but he would look for it, I then asked him if he could give me the dealer information so I can call them for details of the repair and he was not comfortable giving me the dealers name.
