Montessori Kids Land Academy Reviews (2)

This letter is in response to the letter you sent us regarding a complaint about our business assigned to ID No***. The complaint made is at its base inaccurate, as Mrand Mrs*** were never "asked to leave" Montessori Kids Land Academy (MKLA)However, I would still like to respond and clarify our position based undisputable facts regarding the interaction in question. The ***'s daughter was experiencing great difficulty in assimilating to our program, as she was a constant distraction to the classroom, teachers, and other childrenTheir daughter would poke and otherwise physically distract her classmates, and often times she would outright refuse to follow teacher's instructions by just saying "No." I outlined the behavioral issues numerous times with the ***'s, and both parents simply denied that their child ever would behave poorly, and despite numerous attempt to conduct a parent-teacher conference, they never made that effortI have all of these issues documented however, both through teacher incident reports, as well as the on-site camera; used specifically for incidences such as this, as protection from liability arising out of fraudulent complaints such as this one. Due to the behavioral issues in conjunction with the denial and resistance from the ***'s, I simply suggested and offered out of courtesy, that their daughter may like our non-Montessori sister school "Kids Land Academy." I made it very clear to Mrand Mrs*** at the time, that switching schools was merely a suggestion, completely dependent on whether or not they wished to make a change. The Voluntary Withdrawal Clause" referenced in their complaint, deals with situations where Montessori Kids Land Academy informs the parents that it will no longer be offering child-care services to their child, in which case MKLA of course would not require any type of feeAs such, the clause is irrelevant to their situation with MKLANot only was their daughter never asked to leave despite numerous complaints from teachers and other parents, but MKLA instead extended the courtesy of offering them a change of scenery; and this was done for the sole benefit of the *** familyTheir daughter remained enrolled at MKLA, and was never subsequently asked to leave, either impliedly or expressly. Eventually, without any prior notice whatsoever, Mrand Mrs*** called MKLA and told us that their daughter would be withdrawing, and that they would seek child-care at home from their daughter's grandfatherAt that time, I kindly reminded them that per the "Withdrawal Clause" of their signed Admission Contract, which states, "Withdrawals: children may be withdrawn from the Infant Center and Preschool with 30-day written notice due on the P of the month Any child withdrawn without 30-dav written notice, are subject to 30-days of tuition fees from the date of withdrawal" This is a basic and simple contractual obligation, an obligation which the ***'s have vehemently attempted to avoidAs to their request for a copy of their signed contract which shows their obligation for written notice and tuition fees, I sent them copies of this information prior to them filing this complaintAdditionally, please note: *** *** threatened to file this complaint with the Revdex.com if I continued my attempt to collect payment on their outstanding accountIn her own words (of which I can provide digital documentation of), Mrs*** said, "Let it go [demand for outstanding balance] or I will write very bad reviews about your business online and file a complaint with the Revdex.com." To attempt to resolve the matter in an amicable matter, I cut what they owed in half to settle the balance, which they acceptedDespite our numerous courtesies, within hours of Mr*** making payment on their account, they had posted and defamatory reviews on MKLA's business websites, and apparently also this complaint. Please find enclosed the Admission Contract with Mr***'s signature and dateIn the meantime, please do not hesitate to contact our office if you have any questions or concerns
