I took my clothes to have them cleaned which were two coats. One was a brown one and the other one was a white Baby Phat coat with a belt. I went to the cleaners and picked up my coats on 10/24/13 or around this date, didn't notice at the time my belt was missing on the coat. I placed a call two days later and asked where is my belt. They told me that the belt was still at the factory where they clean clothes. It took them several days for them to find my belt and when they did the buckle on the belt was broken. Three and a half weeks have gone past and the manager has not attempted to call me about the belt or to say anything about the replacement of it. This is prosperous! I assumed that my belt is just lying there on her desk and she is not doing anything about it. Wow, what kind of supervisor is this, especially when I had to get to this point? I really need my coat now since it is cold and other reasons. The employee that works at the Poplar location told me that the supervisor was trying to find the screws for the buckle. I called the supervisor several times and no answer at the number provided by the employee which is at the factory.Desired SettlementI want a check for $20 for a new belt because I am going to try and find another belt for my coat. I need the old belt back to see can it be fix. Without the belt the coat cannot be worn. I do not want a store credit I want my belt fixed or a check for the amount. I think it is a shame to have clothes dropped off at cleaners that I thought I could truth. Wow, this business is worthier than I thought.

Complaint[redacted] Shirt destroyedOn April 4th 2014, I delivered 5 [redacted] brand dress shirts to be starched and pressed with Dryve Cleaners. These shirts were newly purchased at [redacted] and this was the first time they were being pressed. On April 5th, I came to pick up my shirts and I was given only four. I was told that one was not ready yet and that they would call me. I never got a call back and had to stop back by the cleaners, where I was told that my shirt was "ripped and shredded" in their machine. I was told sorry, but I kind of felt they lied to me when they first stated it was not completed. I was told by the manager on duty "Ms. [redacted] that the policy was that they could offer me $20.00 (for a 89.00 shirt) or they could offer me $70.00 in free dry cleaning. I stated to Ms. [redacted] that $20.00 might be acceptable for a generic dress shirt, but it would not be enough to replace a [redacted] shirt, and I certainly was upset enough that I did not want to trust them with any further dry cleaning so the $70 in services was worthless. She stated that she was sorry and that was their policy, but I could try and speak with Ms. [redacted], the owner. She would not give me Ms. [redacted]'s direct contact information but said that I could keep calling to reach her. I have tried calling Ms. [redacted] for over two weeks and I have never gotten a call back, despite having left many messages with Ms. [redacted] I feel like they just thought I would go away. I am upset with the lack of attention on my part, but I also feel like Ms. [redacted] does not pass ** the message. I do not feel that $20 dollars is acceptable to replace the shirt, but I also feel that if they can offer me $70 in services, they can also offer me 70 dollars towards the shirt. I was never even presented with my lost shirt so that I could see what happened to it. I feel like I have no recourse and am helpless in this siutation. I'm very upset that I can't even get anyone to call me back and it infuriates me that I have to be the victim in this situation. Desired SettlementI honestly would like a replacement [redacted] shirt or at the very least $70.00 towards the purchase amount of the shirt. This is still not enough to fully replace the shirt, as it was originally $89.00 +tax, but I'm trying to be reasonable about this. I just dont feel that $20.00 towards the loss of the shirt and the loss of time and effort in having to deal with these persons is worth it, especially for not have even been presented the damaged shirt to me and the frustration.

My Comforter was ruined because this company washed my comforter instead of dry cleaning it according to the manufacturers tag that's attachedI dropped off my two comforters on Oct 18, 2013. I picked them up on Oct 24. I spoke to the manager, [redacted] on Oct 25 who stated the comforter was washed instead of dry clean and I questioned why did you wash my comforter when the tags clearly states dry clean only.[redacted] stated that they where not responsible because their sign stated home goods are cleaned at owner's risk. I was directed to the manager [redacted] who would not be availabe until Oct 28. I called the owner at another cleaners named [redacted], I explained to her what happened to my comforter she stated she would need to see it and to bring it into [redacted] located at [redacted] I took it in and the owner stated that [redacted] her manager does not know what she is talking about and the comforters where dry cleaned and she insisted that my comforter was ruined before cleaning. I asked why was I not called before cleaning to verify the accusations, she had no answer. I told Ms [redacted] that it appears as though a cat got a hold of my comforter and scratched it up the front and back side. Ms [redacted] stated she does not live with me do I have a cat or small children. Ms [redacted] also stated that I can check the inside of her washers and nothing would have caused that. I was applaud at the accusations. Ms [redacted] offered my money for the cleaning but that is unacceptable. My comforter is apart of a "[redacted]" bedding set which includes drapery, valances, throw pillows, european shams, and standard shams. This is not a $75.00 set which is what I paid to both comforters cleaned. The other comforter I had cleaned was dry clean only as well and it was washed, the same damages appeared only on one side of this comforter due to the material type on the other side, I am willing to live with this because the comforter damage is located on the downside of the comforter. I showed her both comforters with the same damage but only one was tagged by her manager "defective condition before cleaning". I have pictures of my bedroom from about a month ago showing my bedding and these damages does not exist. This set is approximately 3 years old in good condition. I paid for this cleaning by Master Card in the amount of $75.00Desired SettlementI want Ms [redacted] to apologize for the comforters they ruined and the accusations that I brought my comforters to be cleaned in the condition I received them. I have searched "[redacted]" website for this exact comforter, it is no longer available. I will have to replace my entire bedding set. I want Ms [redacted] to absorb some of my cost in the amount of $700.00 Business Response To whom it may concernMy name is [redacted] and I talked to her husband not her. I told him some comforters are DC and some are washed. I did not tell him that it had been washed. DC is still a rotation in a drum with out a regulator. The customer's was made from polyster and fiber filled, and there were snags on both when received. They were not cleaned at the same time, why would they both have snags. I also told her husband that household items were done at owners risk. That we have a sign on the door which I showed him. Regardless we wouldn't be responsible for the whole room. We only cleaned the comforter, and did try to return cleaning cost. They refuse that! Enclosed is a copy of the sign posted and fair claim guide from IFI International Fabricare Institute.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)A response from [redacted], the manager, is unacceptable. I was referred to [redacted], the owner; by [redacted] and I waited three (3) days for Ms. [redacted] to return to her place of business, after speaking with [redacted]. I meet with Ms. [redacted] with my comforters; I made my complaint and concerns to Ms. [redacted]. According to Ms. [redacted] has no authority and knows nothing regarding the cleaning of my comforters. Even though [redacted] was the one who stated my comforters were washed instead of dry clean, I had no idea until that moment what happened. For me to receive a response from [redacted] is quite annoying. I am unclear as to what [redacted] is trying to offer within her response. I would like to address her accusations regarding my bedroom set. I am not asking this company to pay for my entire bedroom set but I think it is only fair for this company to incur some of my cost to replace it. My cost will be in excess of $1200 I am asking for $700. I am asking for this company to take responsibility for their negligence. Washing my comforters instead of dry cleaning, per the manufacturers tag attached, is not a fabric malfunction nor age factor, it is clearly employer liability and employee negligence. Placing a sign on the door does not exclude this or any other business from negligence. Clearly this matter is not important enough for the owner, [redacted], to respond or concern herself. Ms. [redacted], the owner, not personally responding to my complaint shows a lack of customer service and an unwillingness to accept her responsibility in this matter. My problem may not be resolved through the Revdex.com but I would like to warn other consumers such as myself, the type of bad business, bad character, and no integrity this business, its owner, and its employee's stands for.
