Review: On Febraury 9, 2013 I took my truck to Moount Vernon Citgo. I spoke with the Manage by the name of [redacted] explaining I had 2006 Mecury Mountaineer and the truck was shaking when stopped, engine light was on and when attempting to brake the truck brakes would lock up. I had just completed an oil change at [redacted] and was told I should get tune up to replace spark plugs this was the code for the engine light coming on. [redacted] informed me that [redacted] did not use the proper machine to do complete diagnosis therefore he could check the system out to inform me why the engine light was on and truck shaking. He would also check the brake system to see if anything was wrong. he explained it would take 2 hour to check the truck and he would contact me. I recieved a call four hours later from [redacted] telling me that my truck did not need a tune up the brake system was ok and the only issue noted was a bad ignition coil. I would be charged $69.99 for system check and then total of $356.61 for replacing ignition coil. I informed [redacted] I just paid [redacted] $400.00 for oil change and sway bar link and to check truck. If this issue would fix my checking and engine light then I would do the repairs. If he was unsure then I would take it back to [redacted] to pay the $600 for tune up. [redacted] stated that this would fix the issue and it should fix the brake problem as well. He stated air in the system can cause the brakes to lock and so can the ignition coil going bad. He advised me to come back if the brakes continued to act up or if the engine light came on. I asked how long would the work take and he stated one hour the truck should be done in an hour he would call as soon as he was finished. I never got a call and three hours later I call the shop to be told they are about to close in five minutes and I told the guy I need to get my truck since they were closed the next day. He said I had to hurry to get there. I rushed to contact a ride to get my truck and then came back home. April 3, 2013 I went back to Citgo and spoke with [redacted] explaining my engine light was on again and the truck was still shaking. He informed me it would be hour to check the car but I saw no car in the bay. I stated I would wait but then ten min later he tells me it will be 2 hours. I was at the point I was really upset becasue he did not fix the issue with the ingine light and shaking. For the brakes he did not fix that because I took the truck to the dealer and got the issue reapired for $900 which a part had to be replaced. [redacted] then tells me the truck needs a tune up and he could do it for $1500. I felt like this guy had not check my car and was giving me the run around about how long it would be to look at it. He tells me he has other customers waiting and I could leave the truck. I told him I left my truck all day the first time and then I would like to make an appointment. He said he did not do appointments and it would still be two hours before he could check the truck.Desired Settlement: I told him never mind and he went to help a male customer as if I was not a customer. I feel this company is bad for business and they tell you anything for money. I feel that [redacted] being the manager was not willing to stand up to his role as a manager or business man. He failed to repair my truck when I have the same issue. He failed to honor the year warranty I have when I was just there. I feel like he should give me my money back since he has failed to resolve the issue I came in for.
