Additional coats will NOT penetrate and will sit on the surface and create a blotchy effect. The use of profanity and cussing at my onsite staff and to me over the phone is not professional or called for. Renew Crew is only interested in providing a high quality finished product and high customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, Mr. [redacted] will not look at this with an objective eye and review the data. The data speaks for itself. I'm more than happy to put another coat on the floor if I felt that the project was not up to our standards.Consumer Response completed renew crew survey on linr concerning deck work performed submitted same to renew cree indicating my displeasure with work performed renew crew was paid in full one question posed was what could renew crew do to rectify my problem I answered return an touch up area I was not pleased with also forwarded e mail to renew indicating same to date no response after reading several reviews other customers were taken care of to date I have not been i've lost 2 days pays in addition to paying 881.00 to have deck re-stainedFinal Business Response I take every posting, good or bad, very seriously and we review, as a company, how we can strive to get better. With that being said, Mr. [redacted] it is very difficult to do business with someone that cusses, yells and tries to intimidate my onsite crews. We have tried very hard to work with you on your scheduling, be patient with your mannerisms and try to perform a high quality job for you because we do appreciate you being a return customer. However, this type of behavior is very unprofessional and makes a very difficult work environment. You even cussed at me over the phone when I was trying to identify the problems and come up with a solution. I sent my most senior employee to test the stain for repellency and to walk the job with you. You were adamant in your claim that the water did not bead on the deck surface and refused to provide water for a test spot. A water test is standard procedure for us in order to make sure the stain beads water. After agreeing to the water test, my representative confirmed the water beaded very well. We also review the consistency of the deck to make sure that the stain has equal coverage on all surfaces and is to our high standards. My senior representative felt it was very well done. He was prepared to do the minor touch-ups for you while he was there but you rudely made him leave your property. If you would like, I can personally meet with you on site to just take one more look at the job and make sure it meets our requirements and is to your expectations. If some touch-ups are needed I can perform that at the time of the visit.
