Review: I found this company on[redacted] and hired them to move me on May [redacted], 2013 from NY to NJ. Once they got to my new house they demanded $1600 cash and said they would not unload my stuff unless I payed them. They would not accept any other form of payment except cash. They explained to me (and it is written on the receipt that I have) that they charge an extra $500 deposit just incase I was to file a claim with their insurance company. And it was also explained (and written on my receipt) that the $500 would be refunded in 2 business days. It is now June [redacted], 2013 and this company does not answer my phone calls as they know my phone number. The one time they did pick up they hung up on me. I have asked several times for them to refund my deposit. In addition, I have boxes that went missing in the move and some of my items were damaged in the move. I just want my deposit returned to me as they had promised.Desired Settlement: I want my deposit refunded. I have a receipt showing proof that they promised to refund the $500 deposit in 2 business days.

Review: Before the moving took place, I was told that no deposit would be required for the move. The day of the move, they required a $300 deposit in cash before the moving could even begin. I thought this was strange, but was on a strict schedule so gave the money anyway. We were told we would receive the money back in the mail in the form of a cashier's check within a few business days of the move. A few days went by, and the check did not arrive. I called and texted (the contact I had seemed to prefer texting to calling) several times to ask where the check was. The contact texted me back and said that the check was sent on August [redacted], 2013. He said it would arrive in another day or two. It is now August **, and I have called, texted, and e-mailed him MANY times with no response whatsoever. I have also had my 2 roommates as well as several other people try to call him from different numbers with no response. Just as I write this complaint, I tried to call one more time. His phone now has a message that says "This subscriber is not accepting incoming calls". He is completely unreachable, and I never got my $300 back.Desired Settlement: I would like for the company to send me the promised check for $300 in the mail
