Mr and Mrs ***: I have tried to contact you a couple of times since Monday 4-13-(this was written 4-15-2015)to get to the root of the problem you are having with your floors, but have not received a return callWithout talking to you I will not be able to trouble shoot the problem
you may be having. You stated that you watched a YouTube video, and that I did not do the floors like they didYou allude that because you did not see me do your floors exactly like the video that I must have skipped some vital steps in the process, I assure you that I do all the prep work following completely Mr Sandless guide lines. There are thousands of YouTube videos on floor finishing and I have no way of knowing what you watchedMr Sandless has several different methods we use to refinish hardwood floorsThe one that you chose was based on several factors which include but aren't limited to condition, color, outcome,and budget, during your floor survey we went over all your options pros and cons letting you make the final informed decision. As you know I take no payment until satisfactory completion of the projectOn completion I have each customer look at the floor and address any concerns they have with my work before any payment transfersYou then signed that you were happy with the way your floor looked and submitted payment. Review: On April 16th, 2013 we hired Mr. Sandless to finish our floors. The floors are solid oak. They assured us they could remove the small scratches and also make the color darker. The entire time he was working we were on the patio with friends. He cleaned the floor and than went over it several times with their special finish, which he applied with a mop. Our friends actually teased us and said they would lay down varnish for $800. bucks. Now, 2 years later the floor looks terrible. We really weren't very impressed to begin with but thought that's how it was supposed to look, not knowing about this sanding, (non) sanding machine. We saw the process today on UTUBE and found out we got ripped off big time by Mr. Sandless. We are shocked! They NEVER used the big sanding machine they show online. Just a mop. And of coarse their special finish. We have 8 other people who witnessed this and all say will be happy to attest to this. And will.Desired Settlement: We demand a refund. Not a store credit, not to fix it, A refund. We wouldn't let you step in our home again for the life of me. We are more than willing to take this to small claims court if you don't fix this the right way. What a rip off. Shame on you.
