mentioned that it was an odd circumstance and that I thought maybe an animal had caused the damage. I never charged for repairs just for good customer service The shingles are absolutely not installed wrong, first and foremost I have been doing this for 13 years, we have multiple installation training certifications. We are one of the few companies who is actually certified to do this stuff and if a roof is installed wrong, it leaks right away, not once after a few months then starting again a few years later. As for the warranty documents, I was going to transfer the warranty and honestly I just forgot.The only call or message I recieved after that was her saying it was leaking again, which again I honestly forget to get back to her I've been so busy and my voicemail does fill up daily so sometimes things fall off my radar. We have a clause in our contract that if any third party companies are on the roof during of after the work that we performed then the warranty is void. This is usually because other companies come in and will either cause more damage or lie to get work. Not accusing Classic Roofing of doing this but this is the exact reason for that clause. I understand she tried to reach me and feels like I was ignoring her which isn't the case at all. If she is satisfied I will make a point to come out and fix the issue. Also the gutters were cleaned, we clean them on every single job. So that's my side of the story [redacted] and thanks for bringing this to my attention! Have a good weekend and keep in touch.

Hello! I appreciate that Roof Works finally responded to my concerns; however, I am very disappointed by their response. I have now had two reputable companies come visit the property ([redacted]) and both have stated the shingles have been laid incorrectly. I am waiting to receive the quote from [redacted]. He could not provide the quote when he came as he needed to remove some shingles to see exactly what was required and plans to return to finish the quote. I have already provided the quote from Classic Roofing.
Both [redacted] agreed that the gutters were filled with roofing material, thus the gutters were not cleaned when Roof Works completed the job.

The roof tends to only leak under certain conditions, when there is snow on the roof and it rains heavily. When Roof Works visited the property after the first time the roof leaked, my husband and I remember him stating that there was a hole due to shingle missing or damage. He did not mention that an animal may have caused the issue.

I tried to reach Roof Works from February to April 2017 after the roof leaked again, leaving more than six messages whenever the voice mail was not full and even sent an email, with no response until now. I had called once and and left two message requesting to have the warranty transferred with no response prior to this. I felt I had no choice but to contact another roofing company to obtain quotes to repair to try and minimize the damage.
I still feel that Roof Works should pay to have the repairs done as the roof should be covered under the warranty as Roof Works is supposed to "warrant any defect in workmanship for the lifetime of the work performed".
