Review: I recently purchased a full set of tires from a place which my husband and I have been doing business with for over 20 years. It was 10/11/13 . When I took the car in to have the tires put on my brother and I had seen the service person inside my car slamming my glove box door repeatedly over and over with all his might I would say it was around five times or more by the time I was able to get to the car to make him stop. I asked him what he was doing inside my car in my glove box slamming it. he states he is looking for the key that unlocks my rims. I believe he should have ask me before entering my car for he was covered in black from head to toe. Now as I mentioned we are regular customers and my husband took the car in the time before and tells me that the same service person always works on the car and puts the rim key inside the trunk. Since the time I had the new tires put on I believe I've driven my car about three times and I noticed that my glove box is vibrating a lot and I also noticed that the door is slightly ajar, when I went to open it I noticed that inside the glove box where the door latches is all shattered and broken. My car is a Volkswagen beetle and the glove box is made of a hard plastic. So last night I called the tire store and talked to [redacted] (the owner of the store) to let him know about that incident and also to let him know that my new tires have been leaking a little, but as I proceeded to tell him about his service person and what had happened with my glove box he began to get very angry with me and started to yell at me at the top of his lungs. Me and my husband have been coming to his business for over 20yrs and have never had a problem up until now and this is how he does his customers. He was totally out of line, and very disrespectful hanging the phone up on me acting like a child that I wasn't able to reach some kind of resolution to these issues. I truly know it was his employee that broke my glove box.

This is in reply to your letter regarding the complaint filed by [redacted] Everything has been settled between our store and Mrs. [redacted] amicably. So we do not have any issues between us. She filed this report against our business without talking to me or anyone at our facility. I called her and she came by and I was regretful about the whole thing. We known each other at least for 25 years and we never had any issues other than this misunderstanding.
