I went to Dr. [redacted] for lipo. of my abs. He agreed that was the best course of action. Per his recommendation I went with the hips as well "for a more complete look". On 5-31-13, I had my surgery. By the second visit, I was VERY concerned with the outcome of my abs. Even though he said the swelling wasn't gone, I could tell that my mid section has not the same. I called him after my appt because I was very upset. I could feel the "lumps" in each area that he did but the area where I was seeing the problem, had no lumps at all! I asked him if, the areas I felt the lumps in, were the areas that he targeted the most. He said I was absolutely right. He spent more time on the top of my ab and then the bottom to even it out with the center. But he said that it was still too soon to tell. I came in for my next appt and he admitting after seeing what I had been seeing said "yeah, you could use more lipo in that area, I see what you are saying"! When the parts that he did do, continued to shrink, the part he left or didn't do as much to, is obvious. From the touch and the look, I can tell that that area was not touched or at least not enough. When I could feel the lumps in EVERY other area, there wasn't a lump or any other indication that he did the middle. He admits that he didn't get enough because on the table laying flat, it didn't look like I needed it there however, that was my choice and what I paid for! I paid to have my abdominal done, not parts of it. It was never discussed that my center didn't need it. The middle and the bottom where my main concerns walking in! I mentioned that my hips, did not have the hourglass shape he promised. I showed him how my one side slops in a perfect slide outward and the opposite side goes in. His response was "I could show you the pictures, but your body originally had that disproportion to it". What I don't understand is, even if that were true, I paid for hips, wouldn't that be something a plastic surgeon would fix?
