P & D Maintenance Inc

I purchased 2004 Ford F350 from [redacted]., Colorado Springs. It had an odometer reading of 1 30277 miles.
I purchased new tires for truck
I had minor repairs & basic maintenance performed at [redacted], including oil change, lube, new batteries, brake systems flushed, transmission flushed, replaced wire harness, replaced ICP sensor & pigtail, all filters replaced, repair main seal
The engine light went on. While at [redacted] Auto Parts on other business, I asked for a reference for a local mechanic. P & D Maintenance, Inc. was recommended.
I took truck to P & D for diagnosis of engine light being on. They deter-mined that 4 of 8 fuel injectors were needed. I okayed the work.
I picked up the truck from P & D. Work done on invoice #101167 stated that “injectors 1,2,3, & 5 were replaced & 4 & 6 were swapped with 7 & 8” & that “all testing was good after injectors were swapped. No more low contribution readings”.
Several days later, the motor hydrolocked. I left the truck where it froze & contacted P & D. They towed the truck back to their shop.
I placed numerous calls to P & D for updates about my truck. Finally, [redacted], the mechanic, reported that “the motor was shot”. He said that the injectors they had installed were bad & that 2 of the other ones had blown from the hydrolock. They were working on the situation & that [redacted], who had supplied the injectors, was providing a new set for P & D to install.
I drove by P & D's & noted that my truck was gone from their lot. I phoned & talked to [redacted] to find out that [redacted] had towed it to [redacted] for a second opinion.
[redacted] inspected the truck. Their report states that all of the injectors were pulled & they found that they had not been torqued to 24FT & that a bolt was loose on the oil rack.

My truck was returned to P & D.

6/1 2- [redacted] at P & D told me that [redacted] was ordering a new motor for my
7/1 2 truck. Several days later, he told me it would be a rebuilt motor. Several
days after that, he told me that [redacted] would simply provide parts to P & D to repair the existing motor at their expense. P & D would do the labor.
At no time, was I given the opportunity to speak with the owner, [redacted].
8/12 Weary of the run around, I hired a driver & flat-bed truck to pick up my
truck from P & D. The owner, [redacted], was at the shop & told me to leave my truck there & that they were going to install a new motor & that they would need approximately 2 months to do so. He also told me that he would “make it right” but for me “to do him a favor & go after [redacted]”.
11/12 When I phoned P & D for an update, I spoke to another mechanic ([redacted] no longer worked there) & was told that parts were being ordered.
1 /24/1 3 After no word since November, I went to P & D to see if my truck was ready. [redacted] was there & told me “No, take your truck off my private property & I'll see you in court” & saying that [redacted] was at fault.
1 /26/1 3 I hired a towing service to move my truck from P & D's property. I
found the injectors & the main frame computer in a box on the floor of the truck.
