P. Jennings Asphalt

Do not use P. Jennings Asphalt ! They said they would put 1.5 compacted asphalt on my driveway, it looked good for the first summer and after that it started to fall apart. Ends up they might have put 3/8 compacted and they shorted me 800 square feet of asphalt for the end of my driveway they never came back.

Review: Stated that they would grade, compact asphalt to minimum of 2 inches thickness, and seal asphalt. No sealant used, graded incorrectly and has areas of 'waves' in it, not 2 inches compacted and edges are breaking away within 3 weeks of installation. I have phoned this company numerous times, they do not return phone calls, when I actually spoke with"[redacted]" he stated that they did use sealant and compact to 2 inches and graded driveway correctly, and that maybe he'd come by in a month. I have had driveway looked at by two reputable asphalt companies and my complaints are totally correct according to these two legitimate companies. Jennings did not pull a permit and doesn't have a business license in our area. Complaints against Jennings Asphalt Ft Worth, TX have been previously filed with Revdex.com stating, "they do not return phone calls, will not correct problems, doesn't respond to customer complaints." It appears that there is a group named Jennings that goes around the country doing unacceptable work. California; Wisconsin; Wyoming; Arizona; Eastern Washington; Northern Idaho; and Montana all are showing nothing but problems with this company. California and Arizona both show on Revdex.com website that they want these people for lack of business license, lack of permit, and not fulfillling warranty obligations and doing a correct job. They provided a written 7 year warranty which is useless if the company wouldn't return to correct their deficiencies.Desired Settlement: Refund $14,000.00 to me so I can have their non code work removed and new and correct replacement done. I contacted P. Jennings about a refund of $14,000.00 (he would keep $3300.00)so I can have the job redone correctly, he stated, "price is nonnegotiable. This company only accepts cash or check, they will not accept credit cards. This company does not have a business license for our area, nor did they pull the permit from the county.
