Missing payments and mislead by Consumer Credit RepsAwful customer service
Brought all of my Credit card account to Consumer Credit June of My credit history was A+ with on time paymentsI was told in June that my first two payments to Consumer Credit would need to be made in July and to continue payments myself to ensure I did not end up delinquent with my credit cardsSo, I didMy first two payments of $were automatically deducted from my checking on 7/1/and 7/15/Consumer Credit explained to me that they would disburse my first payment to my creditors on 7/22/and I would see those reflect on my statement that Consumer Credit would send to me every monthIt was explained to me by Consumer Credit that I my accounts may show I am a few days late but it would never be reported to my credit because I would never be over days lateI never have received a statement from Consumer Credit showing me my payment historyIn September I cont

Sold me a vehicle at a price higher than advertised, guaranteed to pass inspection and didn't, not willing to help pay for repairs.I found a listing on Craigs List for [redacted] Nissan Pathfinder, listed its mileage as XXXXXX $2100, guaranteed to pass inspection. I drove from Albany, NY to location on 11/19, I test drove and agreed to purchase with the following items to be repaired: Driver side rear door woudn't open, driver side rear bumper loose, passenger side front change tire, change receptors for front seat belts-wouldn't hook, third light in rear was hanging, brakes were soft - to be checked, driver seat didn't move, interior to be cleaned, and check engine light was on. I agreed to purchase of $2100 and the owner, [redacted], tells me it was posted wrong and that he can't take anything less than $2200. I agreed, with the understanding repairs to all be made and guaranteed to pass inspection. I had researched them on Revdex.com and they have decent rating, and they advertise on their website they're Revdex.com accredited. I returned on 11/22 to pick-up truck, they advised all repairs completed and good to go. I drove 2 hours home and brought the truck to the shop to be looked at 11/24. I knew I would need front tires, though they'd pass inspection but just barely. [redacted] in Latham, NY called me on 11/24 and advised me the vehicle failed inspection for brakes and check engine light. I had already paid to have oil change, 2 new front tires, and allignment done $482.78 for options I chose. The front brakes needed pads, rotors, and there was a seized caliper on one side, also they found broken brake line in back and other line was about to brake. I called Mr. [redacted] 11/25 9:00 am and explained the situation, he told me to bring the truck to him for repair. I explained that the truck had no brakes and could not be drive. He told me to pay to have brake line replaced and then bring to him. I asked if he would pay for that repair and he told me no. I asked how else was I supposed to get the vehicle to him and he said he didn't know. I asked him if he would pay for repairs to make truck drivable and to pass inspection, as guaranteed. He told me no, that he didn't make any money off the sale. I asked him to pay part of the inspection repairs, he stated he would pay parts only. I faxed him a copy of invoice showing the $487.93 that was for replacement of brake pads, rotors, and caliper. Lines have not been replaced yet. He said that if repairs were too much I needed to bring the vehicle back to him for him to give me my money back, I asked first off how the vehicle was going to get there and secondly was ge going to reimburse me for $1500 I have now put into the car in repairs and registrations, which I was again told no. When I called back at 11:30 am to confirm fax was received he was not there but they confirmed fax was received and I was again told that he didn't make any money of the sale and was told to call back later. I called back at 1:55 pm and was told by another employee to give me the message from Mr. [redacted] that he wasn't going to pay for anything and the only way he would do anything was for me to pay to have the vehicle brought to him. I tried very hard to work out an amicable settlement with Mr. [redacted] but he has been completely unwilling to try and resolve this issue with me.Desired SettlementMr. [redacted] should have to either pay for my repair expenses here in ** that allow vehicle to pass inspection as guaranteed or he should reimburse me the full price of the vehicle as well as the $1500 I now have invested in repairs and registration.Business Response Ms. [redacted], seen the vehicle off craigslist Worcester from NY< she contacted us concerning the vehicle. As a result of a conversation she came to Worcester, she took the Nissan Pathfinder for a lengthy test ride, she found "some issues" such as seat belts, electric seat, clean vehicle, change tire. This was all done. I also replaced a manifold with a new one, because I felt it needed to be replaced. She came back one week later inspected and drove the vehicle again. She was very pleased everything she asked for and more was done. She was asked to please call us when she made it back to NY. She NEVER called us. Ms. [redacted], was told numerous times, "any problems call us and we will fix it, we stand behind our vehicles". About one week later, she sent me a bill, from some garage in NY. She NEVER contacted me with any complaints, prior to going to this garage. I NEVER got a chance to inspect any alleged brake problems. She bought the vehicle from me, I believe jurisdiction falls in Mass, and I should retain rite to inspect and repair my vehicle. Granted she is in NY, but she chose to purchase a vehicle from Mass. I don't know if a reputable garage did work, if the work even needed to be done, and if it did to the extent the work was done. For all we know all it MAY have needed was $ 30,00 brake pads. The bottom line is she NEVER contacted me and she was told I will fix any problems she may have. She NEVER gave me the opportunity or communicated to me. Therefore I should NOT be held responsible, because there is no viable evidence to her complaint.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)There are many fallacies in the response from P&P. I emailed from the Craigs List ad on 11/17/14 requesting location, 11/18/14 I received the name of the business, address, and hours of operation. There was never any conversation before I came to view the vehicle. I drove out there on 11/19/14, which is when I purchased the vehicle. I came back 3 days later to pick up the Pathfinder on 11/22/14. I contacted P&P via their website email to advise I had returned to NY and would be taking the vehicle to be inspected on 11/24/14. On 11/24/14 I took the vehicle in to be inspected and to get 2 new front tires, I did not take it in for repairs, so, there was no reason for me to contact P&P at that time. The vehicle failed inspection for front brakes and check engine light. When they went to put on new pads and rotors, they found seized caliper and there was a busted brake line. When I went to [redacted] on the evening of 11/24/14, which is an accredited business in NY State, not some random repair shop. I was advised of these issues that were causing me to fail inspection, as well as the fact that the other brake lines were also unsafe. P&P was not open at this time, I called Mr. [redacted] first thing the next morning, 11/25/14 9:00am. I explained to him what was going on. He did ask me to bring it back to him to be repaired, but the issue was the vehicle was NOT driveable!! There was a broken brake line. I tried to come up with any option to get the vehicle back to him but he was totally unwilling to work out any compromise. It was during this conversation that he agreed to look at what I already was being charged for repairs for the brakes, which is when I faxed him the invoice. We discussed him paying parts, since he stated he wouldn't pay labor, I asked him to pay for brake line to get vehicle back to him for additional repairs, in the end he denied paying for any of it. I attempted to contact him back twice after that, at which time I was told he was not there, and then that he left a message for me that he wasn't paying anything for repairs. I have copies of all items involved in this issue. He was to look at the information and then we could discuss how much he would reimburse me for. The place the vehicle was inspected and then repaired at, still has the brake pads, and I have pictures of the deteriorated/unsafe brake conditions. I can also provide statements from this reputable National business. I would have been more than happy to bring the vehicle back to Mr. [redacted] for repair, but it couldn't be driven, and I couldn't afford to have it towed all the way back. This very easily could have been resolved amicably but all I heard from Mr. [redacted] was how he didn't make any money off the sale, that is not my issue. At this time, I have put $1400 in repairs into the Pathfinder and it still cannot pass inspection, due to the check engine light, and still has 3 brake lines that need to be replaced, in order to be safely driven. I won't risk my life driving a vehicle 2 hours back to Mr. [redacted] because he sold me a vehicle that does not pass inspection and has numerous issues. I didn't expect a brand new vehicle, the other items wrong with it I'm not asking for any reimbursement for, however, all items that were supposed to be repaired previous to my picking it up, as well as items that are causing the failing of inspection, he should be responsible for. As you can plainly see, I contacted Mr. [redacted] and P&P Motors multiple times trying to work out an amicable resolution. The vehicle was purchased 11/19/14, picked up Saturday 11/22/14, and failed inspection Monday 11/24/14. There was no delay in contact. I did not take the vehicle in for repairs before speaking to Mr. [redacted], it was the failing of the inspection that necessitated the repairs being done .
