On [redacted] called for boiler service, pilot not working turning of in the middle of the night. The following work was performed " Set up Pressure, Control at [redacted] Correct [redacted] Check wires, Set up Wires. Bill [redacted] paid [redacted] dollars. He stated that the boiler is a good boiler and guarantees his work. Problem continued , 0n [redacted] I called and he came back. The following work was performed" Swap Gas Valve, Remove the Gas Valve Charge [redacted] Problem continued left several messages to call back and several text messages. On Sunday [redacted] I was able to contact him. He stated that he did not work on [redacted] he attempted to fix same problem with pilot turning off. He changed pressure control and used an old one that he had. He also attempted to clean the gas tubing that leads to the pilot. The charge was [redacted] I did not pay him, The problem continued. Today [redacted] I spoke and advised him to fix the boiler and get paid the [redacted] that was owed. He stated that he was satisfied with the job he had done. I advised him that I would be filling complaint with the BBC. He laughed and hung up. Today Due to health of the tenant I had to call another company to work on the boiler.Product_Or_Service: [redacted]Account_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementRefund [redacted]Business Response To whom it may concern : The above mention customer called P & P Services to change a gas valve , a thermostat and a termal couple generator . we provided the services tested the job to make sure everything was working properly and it was. we charge per hour [redacted] dollars and hr plus materials. His tenant touched the boiler a couple times he called us to go back out because he said that there was something wrong going on so he said. we went out and proved to him or job was done correctly and everything was working fine. I notice thermostat was being touched by someone. boiler turned on and off and was working we called him from there and told him or job was 100 percent ok. he kept complaining about the same problem and we found out the tenant wasn't waiting for it to kik on and off they we physically touching it the boiler parts .she told us she was turning it on and off not waiting for it to do it itself. the above mention customer change again a new termal couple generator himself. since we called him from there he heard boiler was working fine turning on and off it self . since customer changed the termal couple generator himself a second time I told him there was no warranty on that because he did it himself. I told him I was going to check the pressure control to see if there was something wrong with that he said ok but to send pictures first and that what we did. we found it was clogged told him and when ahead and swap it and did the job left him and invoice for that job for [redacted] and some change and he never paid that amount till this day. but our job has been done correctly. if you have any questions to regards t this matter please contact me at XXX XXX XXXX thank you very much sincerely [redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)On [redacted] I called Mr. [redacted], P&P Service for heat turning off during the night. Mr. [redacted] did not replace the Thermostat nor the thermal coupler as he stated. I do have two receipts of the work that he performed. The third receipt is for replacement of one pressure control with a used one. He also cleaned the part inside the Tenants kitchen sink making a "mess"! Mr [redacted] demanded [redacted] I explained to Mr. [redacted] if he had fixed the gas boiler there would be no problems or issues and he would received the payment in the mail after a few days. I had always paid him in cash after the job was completed and he did give me a paid receipt. Their remains one problem after spending [redacted] dollars and the system is still in-op. Don't know what Mr. [redacted] is attempting to say that the tenant and I were messing with the heat and not waiting for it to kick on. I would personally responded to the address several times a day and light the pilot. Which takes me back to the "MAIN Problem" Why I called him in the first place.
