Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I am shocked that Dr*** mentions he tried contacting me many times regarding the situationDr*** has never contacted me regarding the situation throughout the past monthsEach conversation we have had has been on my own effort in attempting to contact him and even then, he has ignored many of my messages and calls.
In his office, he told me that the Invisalign would be prepared in 4-weeksAfter weeks I called him to get an update on the progress and he mentions that it will be in another 2-weeksweeks later, I called where he mentioned again, an additional 2-weeksI contacted him via text on March 9th, weeks since my appointment and he responded that the Invisalign is "in production being shipped end [o]f the next week," as in by March 20thOn April 2nd I had received no trays nor I was contacted by Dr***I contacted him again, relaying my concern of the delay of the product, to which he responds that he "will refund [me] back for these two months." I message him on April 3rd, asking about how I would receive the refund, but he did not respondI message him on April 9th and April 13th, with again, no responseI had called the office about receiving the refund and the receptionist mentions that I just have to file a dispute with my credit card company CareCredit, which I applied for in his office, about the transaction and CareCredit would withdraw the money from their bank accountThe dispute was declined mentioning that I cannot receive a refund on a custom made productThis is understandable, however I never received the productIt is difficult for me to prove that I had never received the product, but Dr*** was able to simply show a receipt of my purchase to CareCredit which they considered enough to decline my dispute
In the office, Dr*** had told me that I would not have to come in after the initial photos or even after receiving the traysHe mentions that because my teeth were not too crooked, I would no longer need to come in and could simply wait for the new trays to ship to me every weeksSince I decided to get the Invisalign while I was completing my Bachelors degree in Los Angeles, it would be difficult for me to travel to San Diego for additional appointmentsHe addressed this concern and assured me that after the appointment in December, I would no longer need to come in.
Busy with school, I contacted him in June and up until this time I had never received a call or message from Dr***When I finally got in touch with him, he mentions that he would call me the next day at noonI wait until then and a bit after, but never received a callI called his personal cell and after he realized that it was me, he did not even bother addressing me and passed the phone to his manager, ***, who I had never spoken to or met until this point*** at first told me that I could either get a refund or come in to take more pictures that were necessary for the procedureI told him I would think about it and after discussing with my family, we decided that the amount of time and lack of communication from Dr*** was concerning and that I should no longer perform business with himI talked to *** the next day asking for a refund to which he responded was no longer an optionHe told me that Dr*** required photos for the production of the Invisalign to start, which is very different from what I was told earlier that the production had already started and almost completedAfter telling *** that I had already taken pictures, he mentions that he did not have any in the system
My biggest concerns are the lack of consistent information and communication from Dr***Why did he inform me that I would no longer need to come into the office and only notify me of the delays once I called in? I discovered that normally, Invisalign trays take about 4-weeks to be produced, so why is the delay so incredibly long? *** had told me very different information than Dr*** and after trying to get a refund, why did the situation change the next day? Why has the progress of the Invisalign trays changed so often and dramatically? At one point, the Invisalign trays were nearly done, but now more photos are required to start the productionI have clearly been receiving inconsistent information regarding the progress of the Invisalign and being able to receive a refund, which makes me wary of continuing with the procedure. There were several occasions when I have called his personal cell at reasonable hours when he would not answer or return my callsI also called his office several times, and after telling the receptionist my name, I would always be told that Dr*** was busy and would call back, but I would never receive any call from them
Regards,
*** ***

Review: I purchased Invisalign through Dr [redacted] which was never delivered. Purchased in December 2014, never received to this day (July 2015). He mentioned in April that "the Invisalign trays are in production, and will be here next week" Still never arrived by June. After some more discussion in June, he then mentions that I need to come in for photos in order to start production on the trays. He has treated me very unprofessionally, lying about the production of the trays, and refuses to give me a refund. I submitted a claim through my credit card, Carecredit, who said that he provided documentation stating that the Invisalign has been completed, but he still tells me that the trays are not available. There is a lot of untrustworthy statements being made by him and I no longer feel safe being his patient. He is lying about the production of the trays and I want a refund for the Invisalign.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the $1900 that I spent to purchase the Invisalign.

Review: I had my 18 year old daughter go to them for an exam and xray. The dentist claimed that if I paid up front I would receive discount for work needed. This work was to be a cleaning. An exam he said he found 1 cavity in the back and the front tooth needed a vaneer. I paid on my credit card $ 1500.00. My daughter the patient Chantal lessard 18 years of age had the tem[porary fall off 3 times the dentist was so frustrated that he told her most of the tooth needed to be grinded down. her experience was so frightful we canceled the teeth cleaning and went to a very reputable dentist in Del Mar. He said based on the work he saw that this made him want to teach dentistry. The work was horrible. Also when the new dentist looked at the x rays and took new x rays he said the tooth that the doctor said needed to be filled did not. The dentist was told we would be having her cleaning and the work done with some one else. I am a reasonable person. I did not expect 100% refund but I did expect a partial refund. When my daughter picked up her records to take to the new dentist. The document showed a $ 470.00 credit. I have called 4 times and been told that the accounting department would call me at a specific time on a specific day to refund the credit back on my credit card. This has all been a lie. No one ever calls me as promised.Desired Settlement: At a minimum the $ 470.00 needs to be refunded. He should not be practicing dentistry the other dentist even said his work was horrible and he has no agenda. He has a thriving dental business for over 35 years. He felt very sorry for my daughter that her tooth was grinded down when it did not need to be. He should actually refund all the money because my daughter will never be able to get back the tooth that was unnesesarly grinded downThe money was taken on March 19, 2014.
