July 28, 2018, I sent a check in the amount of $34.98 to PMB Pacific Magazine Billing as the first installment for Women's Day magazine. As of today, 2/28/19, I have received no magazine and no information regarding this transaction. I want a full refund of my payment . This is a terrible way to run a business, and it borders on being illegal. My name is Ronald Knipp, and the check number is 8872.

The company is absolutely deceitful They send out a mailer which is intended to look like a bill They add to that a line that says, "Thank you! Your prompt Attention is Appreciated."
It's not until you look at that back of the bill that you learn that this is an offer and not a bill or invoice The magazines they represent should also be ashamed to be connected to a company using such despicable tacticsPerhaps they (Forbes?) are desperate, too

"PMB" Pacific Magazine Billing should not be allowed to do businessTheir advertisements deceptively appear like an invoice, which can easily fool vulnerable recipients (e.g., I imagine my grandmother might have sent a check thinking that she was paying an invoice)Moreover, their prices, which are advertised as an "offer," are more than the price to subscribe directly with the magazine publisherFor example, I received an "offer" to pay $for year of People Magazine, which would be less than $directly from People!
They should be ashamed
