Company states: Customer had an issue with the commission of who were going to be paying toThat is not apart of her deal of who we send the commissionThe lot is supposed to be level before we come out thereIn the contract that is included

I am rejecting this response because:
1.  Poor customer services which lead to misleading consumer regarding commission.  See contract for "[redacted]".  This was a "bait and switch" especially if you heard the conversation between us.

Review: On 9/13/14 we contacted Pacific Metal Building, Inc to have them set a 24X30 metal building. We spoke to [redacted]. 1. In the conversation before we approved or sent any money we were assured that the dealer of [redacted] was to receive the commission because they were using their business license for the deal. She assured us that [redacted] would receive the commission. After the metal building was set [redacted], owner advised us that another person was to receive the money. A bait and switch. They lied to us. If they told us the truth we would not have gone with that company and they knew that. 2. I could not find a business license for this company. 3. They promised that they would have the job completed in three weeks, it actually took 6 weeks and 5 phone calls. I had to threat cancelling the order to get them out there. 4. Three of their employees came from [redacted] which is 3.5 hours from Greenville, because they could not complete the job in one day (because of another lie the company told us) their employees advised that they would not get paid for that day. No money for the drive or the 4 hours they spent on the construction. They had to come back another day to complete the work. The work was completed on October 28, 2014. It was at that time we learned of the bait and switch on the commission.Desired Settlement: I would like to see: 1. This complaint to be formally noted so other consumers will not be taken by this company. 2. Compensation for the additional dirt work that needed to be done by us before they completed the job. It took a back-hoe and two men 5 hours to dig the hole so they could complete the job. Estimated cost $375.00 ($75.00 per hour times 5 hours.) 3. An apology to us and to [redacted] for the bait and switch lies.

I rarely review, But my wife is O.C.D with an eagle eye for details, and after talking and getting bids from multiple companies (all contractors strike us as "sketchy") to roof our house we finally agreed on Pacific Metal Buildings because they came in 2 thousand lower, and the fact that its a 40 year old family business who's honesty was truly refreshing.

They showed up ahead of schedule, they kept the cleanest job site ive ever seen, and were completed in 2 8 hour days.It was the easiest contractor experience weve had, and we then used them to fix and replace our garage door and bought and changed out all our windows through them. I wouldn't use anyone other unless [redacted] personally referred them to me.We're loyal customers for life.

DO NOT USE PMB!!! PMB built a metal pole building for me in 2007 with a positive experience. When I needed another one, it was an easy choice to use them again. There is not enough space here to list all of the issues with the second building, this is just a brief summary. PMB was told of our timeline; start 3 months from bid time. PMB pushed us to ready site in two weeks. It was ready and we asked them to inspect it. PMB did not inspect site; despite the fact we had made it abundantly clear the site was rocky. PMB said they had a skidster-mounted jackhammer. They were told they would need it. PMB was not ready to start at two week mark, but requested payment. We paid first installment for the actual building materials. It was delivered. Metal was bound and covered with scrap pieces not of the building's color (this is important later). Shop laid on the ground for over two months of winter/spring weather. PMB would say, "Crew will be out X date." No crew would show. We would call and the promise/cycle would be repeated. Then, a month long spring road restriction hit. It was a full FIVE MONTHS from first payment before project was completed. We had to make another contract with them losing $100 per day if not done on a date PMB chose. They still finished after 6pm on that day. Quality of work was extremely poor. This includes OVER A DOZEN leaks in the roof. PMB remedy was to silicone screws. Surprise, it still leaked. Metal was physically bent, creased and otherwise damaged in numerous locations. Screw lines were not even close to level in several locations. Above one door, two lines of screws had been started within two inches of each other. Half way over the door, one of the lines stopped. Residential vents were installed rather than metal siding vents. Vent holes vastly different in size despite same size vents. Crew left all of their personal garbage from meals and literally a quart-sized bag of cigarette butts on site. Our dogs would run to their work area to inspect for food every day. Countless screws and nails strewn around site. I would expect a few, but not literally over a quart-sized bag full. They also left enough small, destroyed pieces of cut metal it cost us $38 at the dump to dispose of. We have another huge pile of wood debris to burn this fall. One of the colors was incorrect (two-tone, wainscote-style of siding). It was installed on shop when I was away for business. PMB told me we should have noticed it on delivery (uhm.. it was bound and under another color) or we could paint the color of the house since we did not like the color on shop. It was not a matter of "liking" the color. PMB ORDERED THE WRONG COLOR. After meeting with PMB and showing him our copy of the contract where no colors had been written, a contract surfaced a few days later with the incorrect color written on it. PMB had been showed a color chart with the two correct colors circled and told over three separate phone calls the correct colors. After the roof leaked, the shoddy screw lines, and all the bent/creased metal, we made a deal for replacement - if we paid another $2000 AND PMB took the wrong-colored metal. Also, another contract mysteriously disappeared and a copy was in PMB's file with a post it note over our signature to make it look like we had not signed it. In one phone call, PMB would apologize profusely. In the next, PMB would threaten legal action. We always paid within 24 hours of payment being requested. Save yourself the stress. Choose someone else for your project.

Pacific Metal Buildings installed our shop on time and under budget. The crews were all highly skilled and dedicated, working each day as promised despite the scorching heat. They kept the site clean, and quickly handled the short punch list to our satisfaction. I would and have recommended them to others.

I wish to complain about Pacific Metal Buildings, Inc. We contracted them to build a pole building. There were many problems that came up about the building so many that it would take more room then I have here to explain I will tell you if you need a building built do not go to these people because they do not stand behind their work, they will build a very poor building with very poor products. And when confronted about it they will lie to you about it. They will promise you to come out and or call but will not do it.They will string you along with promises until the time is up to file complaints about them with sob stories about health problems etc. I repeat do not use these people unless you have money to throw away.
