Dear Ms***:
In response to your letter dated June 6, 2014, I would like to make certain that you are aware that I
did discuss the matter with Dr***, an oncologist in our groupAfter careful assessment of the
nature of the visit, the services provided, and the
documentation in records, we find the complaint
entirely baseless and devoid of any substanceThe patient did undergo the tests that were
recommended, the tests were medically necessary and appropriate, and the results are in the
patient's chartAll of the services were provided by Dr***, who has impeccable records of the
provision of these services
Dr***, whom I have known for over years, is a caring, compassionate, and outstanding
medical oncologist and hematologist, and she was extraordinarily kind to not pursue this matter any
further and waived the charges in questionShe did so simply because she was acting as a physician
rather than looking at the business side of this matter
Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will consider this complaint resolved.
In regard to saying my complaint was "baseless & devoid of substance" just goes to show the lack of understanding for patient experience. Knowing someone for 25 years doesn't make them free of complacency, which was 100% what I experienced at this facility.

Review: I am appalled by the service I received at this facility on February 21st 2014. I recently moved from out of state and was in need of a new primary care Doctor to help me stay therapeutic with a blood clot I experienced in 2012. I was very fortunate to have the Doctor I did when my clot happened, as I was unable to walk and unable to work for 4 months; he did a stellar job of getting me therapeutic. It took several months for my clot to dissipate but I was in great hands with my Doctor and have been therapeutic since. I was able to move back to my home town in Orange County for work and as a result needed to find another great Doctor. My experience at this facility if I am going to be frank, seemed like a joke. Dr. [redacted] came into the room for a total of two minutes and didnt ask a thing about my blood clot or health history. She did not ask about my medication or offer to give me a refill on my Rx for my blood thinners. The only thing she said to me related to my condition was, dont eat greens. That is a very ignorant suggestion and luckily I am wise enough to have realized she clearly has no idea what she is saying to me. I have been eating greens the entire two years I have been therapeutic. The dose I take daily of my Warfarin is a dose that allows me to eat how I do (a lot of greens) and also allows me to workout multiple times per week. Dr. [redacted] doesnt know any of this because in the two minutes she came in to meet me, she never once asked me a thing. After getting my INR from the lab I left. The entire purpose of going into the Dr. every month is to regulate my INR and adjust my medication as needed. I also have to get my Rx monthly. Dr. [redacted] did not even order the Rx for my medication that I was out of and am required to take daily. When I realized Dr. [redacted] did not order my Rx I called in and had to ask for it. She should have been asking me about my medication and spoken to me about it. She would have then realized I was out of my medicine. The cherry on top of this entire experience was getting a bill for over $300 for nine blood tests I did not ask for and had no idea I was getting. I simply asked for an INR reading. I contacted them and without explanation of why they took all this blood work and charged me, they quickly just fixed the charge and sent me a new bill. That action in itself is very strange behavior. My new bill is for $171.70 for the two minute meeting with Dr. [redacted]. Is that a joke? Sure seems like a joke or fraud. Walking into a room only to say dont eat greens, hardly consists of a medical consultation. This scam may work on other patients, but it isnt working on me. I strongly recommend they modify their practices and hope Dr. [redacted] remembers her duties as a Doctor. I am disputing this bill for service not rendered.Desired Settlement: I want the bill corrected for the service I received. Which only consisted of INR lab work. I will not pay $167.15 for a medical consultation that did not take place.
