Hello
The customer in concern had LG refrigerator which had ice buildup beside ice bucket. We went out and troubleshooted the issue and found error code. The tech informed customer that we will email customer the quote since unit was started having the issue straight after moving the...

unit. This customers situation was different from normal since movement was involved. We had to find out whether this problem customer was having can occur due to improper movement. If the issue was what part caused the problem, that was easy but here we had to find out whether this issue can be caused by movement. This took time to do research from various tech support and other info available.
1. We have already emailed customer the repair quotation within a week of our visit. I will download all info and sent it over to you later today. We had issues with our phone whereby customers were calling us and leaving voice-mail but we were receiving nothing on our side. We had couple of complaints from our customers and issue was only solved last week - phone operator changed the setting without knowing what he was doing and this lasted almost more than month and half.
$40 service call fee is the fee charged to have a tech come out and troubleshoot the issue. The technician did perform the tasked for which he charged. we advertise service call waived with repair therefore if customer proceeds with repair - $40 service call fee will be waived and applied to repair cost. Customer was made aware of this before appointment was booked.
2. We do not have any Revdex.com logo on our web page. Customer must have been mistaken.
Our sincere apology to customer for the issues he had with us. I will see that this does not happen again and we return all calls in timely fashion.
Thanks
[redacted] - Pacifika Appliance Repair

I do not accept Pacifika’s resolution, since it does not include a refund of the $40 which I spent for an estimate; an estimate which I still have not received from.
In the absence of an estimate, I contacted the manufacturer, Samsung, who referred an authorized-manufacturer repair service, who were out the following business day, looked inside the freezer cabinet and concluded that the walls of the unit were “warped” due likely to damage in transit, which is what I had suspected. The damage to the refrigerator/freezer were apparent to the repair person, who within minutes declared on an invoice that the unit was damaged beyond repair.
The estimate has since been submitted and the insurance company has authorized payment for the damage. (The estimate I am referring to is NOT any estimate from Pacifika. I have yet to receive anything from them).
Pacifika was at my house on Thursday, July 3, 2014, and due to the 4th of July holiday the following day, they promised me an estimate by the following Monday, July 7th. As I mentioned in my Complaint, I both mailed and hand delivered a message to Pacifika, addressed for mail delivery, and a copy hand-delivered to the UPS store on Del Paso Blvd. Additionally, I made repeated phone calls, yet after almost a month (July 3 to July 29 – the latter being the date of their response through your Revdex.com office), nothing was forthcoming from them.
I request as a settlement to this complaint my reimbursement of $40 (not money for gas for delivering the letter, or stamps for the USPS mail, nor for the time on the phone and otherwise devoted to this matter, including now) – Just the $40 they charged and for which they did not perform. I consider this a fee for an estimate, a timely estimate, which they promised, so that I would be able to make repairs in a timely manner (without burning out the motor) or replacing my unit.
With respect to the information they were seeking, which according to them was delaying the process, any good business would have contacted the customer and alerted the person about the delay. When Pacifika accepted, and then cashed the $40 check, they entered into a contract to perform what they promised – an estimate. And a timely estimate. The estimate was promised for delivery via email no later than the following Monday – This is considered a verbal contract, as well as the contract to perform. They did not perform on their verbal contract, and have yet to do so – although now the issue is moot, as the problem regarding the freezer has been resolved by an actual repair service, and the insurance company.
It is in the best interest of Pacifika to refund the $40 and go on with their relationships with other potential customers. In the absence of a refund, I will continue completing legal steps.
This is not a large remedy sought. I can assure Pacifika that this is not an unreasonable request given they failed to perform 1) the verbal contract to deliver an estimate, and to do so by July 7, 2014, and 2) their failure to notify me of the delays they were encountering (which is highly questionable since the other repair service had made an accepted, verified assessment within minutes of observing the freezer – a conclusion “apparent to a reputable repair service,” to quote the repair service which accomplished the task.

Review: On Oct. 25th we paid Pacifika Appliance Repair $49.00 to diagnose the problem with our Maytag Washer. On Nov. 1st they came to repair washer. After four hours they were still not done and left with parts of our washer. They returned Nov. 4th to finish the repair. They said it was working fine and we paid them $570.40 only to find the washer did not work properly shortly after they left. I called them and they came back a couple of days later and said some of the parts they installed needed to be replaced. They would order the parts and return Monday the 10th of November to finish the repair. They have never returned and I have called, e-mailed and sent a message on their web-site over twenty times. There has been no response. Our washer does not work properly and we either want it fixed or all of our money returned. I went on the California Contractors Board web-site and find the license number on their business card and work order does not exist.[redacted]Desired Settlement: Either come out and completely fix the washing machine or refund all of our money.

Review: In a recent move, our side-by-side refrigerator was damage. The freezer section freezes over. Needing a repair estimate for the insurance company, I call Pacifika Appliance Repair. Fellow came out, took check for $40 and said after "checking code numbers he would be better able to diagnose problem." Estimate was to be emailed to me. Two weeks have passed; 9 phone calls to have them call me. Nothing. Went by business address, which discovered is a UPS Mail Store. This business, I now "suspect" is a fraud. They even used a Revdex.com logo on website.Desired Settlement: My money back is # 1 ($40), and #2 to save others from these people and their lack of service or responsiveness. They should be taken to court for using the Revdex.com info.

Review: I call this company on 3/01/15 for our Ice maker for our Refrigerator and for oven, they came to our house late evening one hour late as promised and spend about 15 minutes for inspection for both appliance and told us he don't have the parts and will call tonight (3/01/15) for price will comeback to for repair next day (3/02/15). This company never call for price and service, I have been calling every day but no one even answering my call.Desired Settlement: Just to repair my appliance as soon as possible.

Repair has been completed to customers satisfaction. I have a signed invoice to proof that. I do not understand the reason for customer complaint to begin with. If somebody does not answer the phone, that does not been that nobody will complete the repair.Did we charged customer for the total repair and did not complete our work? NO. The customer was charged for service call fee for 1 appliance while two separate units were diagnosed. customer was free to contact some other company if they wanted to. we completed the repair in timely manner and as parts were available. customer was informed of every process as it progressed. Thanks

Review: My refrigerator was getting warm so I called this company out to fix it. They arrived and looked it over and did not have the parts so they had to come the next day to fix it and install the parts. We had everything out of the refrigerator and turned it off so all the ice melts. In the freezer section the tech removed the three shelves and sat them on the floor against the drawers of the counter. They stayed there until the next day without being moved. The tech installed the parts and we turned the unit back on and the refrigerator started to get cold. After he left I started to put back the food and I wanted to put back the shelves in the freezer and I go two in and when I tried to get the third shelf in it would not fit in the holes the shelf was too short. I looked online at the refrigerators manual and found out that the small shelf has two caps that go on the end so it will fit in the holes. The two caps are missing and not in the refrigerator or on the counter top. I even looked in the trash for them. I called the company back up and he was going to ask the tech about it and he never called me back. I called again from a different phone and they picked up and said he did not touch the caps. In order to take the shelf out the caps had to come out.Desired Settlement: I want them to replace the two missing caps so I can use the shelf again.

Review: Hi my name is [redacted]. I am a single mom and would like to make a complaint regarding this company Pacifika repair services. That took advantage of me and ripped me off. In hopes that this doesn't happen to another person or family. I found Pacifika repair services online as an appliance repair company. My washing machine had stopped working and I made an appointment with one of there technitions to come and take a look at my machine. The technition did some tests and told me that the moter had burnt out and I needed another one but he would have to go and pick up the moter from his parts place and he would be back to install it the next day I agreed and we made a time 2p. He. Came back and attempted to put in the new moter as I watched I noticed he didnt seem to be very knowledgeable wen some smoke and a horrible smell started coming from the wires. He admitted to me that either the part he had brought was bad or he installed the wires incorrectly and he would have to go back to his parts store to get another moter. He did not come back the very next day as promised but 4 days later stateing that his company was very busy and he was the only one available. He installed the new moter this time I hoped correctly he assured me it was fixed and turned it on and told me I could do a load of laundry now. So I started a load he wrote me a reciept I payed him $260 in cashhe left did not wait for the load to finish. About 30 mins later I smell something like something burning and the load was done but cloths were still all wet I called the company everyday since and they never returned my call. I had to hire another company and pay another $260 to fix my machine and the new technition told me the part was bad and had not been installed properly. I want my money back I feel taken advantage of, ripped off and the lack of professionalism of this company is just rediculas to not even return my calls to try and help me is jus wrong I will probably be taking this company to small claims court. :(Desired Settlement: I would just like my money back and I will never ever call this company ever again and I hope that this report helps someone from making a huge mistake bye calling this company. I dont want this to ever happen to any other person or family. What a nightmare. Thanks for listening.

Review: This company had a posting on craigslist.org for appliance repairs. My mother called them to repair a refrigerator that was not getting cold. They came out for an estimate and said that the cost to repair would be $340.00 and that they would be back the next day to do the repair. They repair they did was a charge to the freon and they made no indication that further repairs would be needed in order for the refrigerator to function properly. My mother paid them $340.00 and the refrigerator remained plugged in overnight. In the morning, the refrigerator was not cold inside. The company was called and the owner of the company came out to inspect the refrigerator. He said that he would have someone out to repair it - that was three weeks ago. Three phone calls to the company have gone unanswered, even after informing them via voicemail that we would be reporting them.

Product_Or_Service: Refrigerator repairDesired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Replacement

We would like them to repair the refrigerator as they had said they would, if they can't repair it we deserve a refund. The money was paid but nothing was received in return, refrigerator is still broken. This seems like a scam business, there is no address available for them and very little information online.
