Review: On Sunday, Oct 5, I went into the Padavo store and ordered a dinette table and chairs to be made. On Saturday, Oct 6, my husband and I decided for various reasons that this order was not going to work out for us, mainly that the set was going to be too big for the area in which it was going. I called the store early Sunday afternoon to cancel the order and spoke with [redacted], as Lor, the owner/manager was not in, and wouldn't be in, according to [redacted], until Tuesday. [redacted] said she would give Lor the message that I called and wanted to cancel the order. I called again on Monday, on the chance that Lor had come in. Still no, and again [redacted] re-confirmed that the message to cancel the order was given to Lor. As I work full time, my husband went in on Tuesday and spoke with Lor to get our $1,295 deposit back and she refused to do so, siting that all sales are final. She agreed to give us store credit. But nothing was purchased, only a deposit was made towards an order that was never even begun. And on the receipts it says all custom orders are subject to cancellation.Desired Settlement: I would very much like to get my deposit back. This experience has left both my husband and I very upset. Forcing me to spend $1,295 in her store by way of a store credit is an injustice, and nothing was even purchased in the first place. I do not want to patronize Padavo's business in any way at this point.
