Paddock Pools Reviews (34)

These people provide terrible pool service, do not sign up with them. You will get a different person every few weeks because all the employees quit. We had one guy who took part of our pool equipment to be 'repaired', then he quit, never heard back from him again. Finally called to ask about all the turnover and they do not have an answer. Just drop them and find someone else.

reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. After all the delay and poor customer service, I am very disappointed that the only reply is a schedule date. In addition, the work did not restart on June 11 as promised.

Regards,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. We absolutely did purchase this Christmas Tree from [redacted] on [redacted] in [redacted]. There is a large section that needs to be relit and we would happily submit it to them to fix. Bring it in though? Isn't this company in Arizona? If so, we cannot just bring it in. Our phone number is [redacted] for [redacted] and [redacted] for my wife, [redacted]'s cell and our current home number. We used to live at [redacted], Las [redacted], NV [redacted] when we purchased the tree. Our phone number then could have been [redacted] (old home number in [redacted] or [redacted].  Please provide a mailing label for us to ship it in for relighting or let us know how else this can be resolved. Regards,[redacted]

The customer is referencing a product that was purchased thru the previous company:  [redacted] Const. Co.

The company was foreclosed on February 1 2013.  [redacted] acquired the rights to pay for the name and the purchase was an asset purchase only.  Although...

as a corporation we have no obligation to the issue we would like to have the customer bring in the section that is not lit for evaluation.  There was no phone number for the customer and what records that the new company has does not reflect this purchase.

In December 2014 we contracted with Paddock Pools to do a repair on our pool and add some additional cool deck. The end of January they drained the pool to start the process. Now, 4/7/2015, nearly 11 weeks later it is still drained and the job is only half finished. Let me start by saying there is no communication with these people. They do not initiate calls nor return calls They are not concerned about their customer at all. For example they turned my pool’s electrical breakers on and I found the pump running dry the next morning. They dumped concrete and mortar in every corner my yard some under bushes so I wouldn’t find the mess. Left a huge pile of dirt and concrete in the street in front of my house for several days. However, the very worst thing is leaving my pool drained this long. The pop-up heads, light gasket, returns, and especially the pool’s finish are not meant to be dried and exposed to the elements at all much less this long.
I finally tracked down the supervisor Mike R[redacted], who told me they have no tile guys. I guess that means they cannot finish the job. We have felt like they have abandoned us and the job with all the delays and lack of communication and now it’s official.
I was in the pool business in AZ for 15 years and their performance is far below acceptable industry standards. Now I will have to quickly find someone else to finish the job.

We hired Paddock to build a custom pool for us. I provided the plans that I had professionally drawn and wrote a deposit check on August 5 2014. I was told that our pool would be completed in 60-90 days. The project is still jot completed as on April 15, 2015 and we have paid paddock 100% of the money. Throughout the 9 month period we continuously had to correct work discrepancies and battle over what was ordered and paid for. Paddock wouldn't show up to work when they were scheduled for and would take weeks off in between. They would never return our calls and emails. They continuously had employee turn over. We were forced to hire an attorney for direction and support. When we met with the owner [redacted] to come to terms with a completion plan, we asked for a discount and she asked if she honored the discount would we leave positive feedback on [redacted]! Paddock Pools is a huge disappointment and a very frustrating company to work with. They are not honest and I would never use them again. They are under new ownership by [redacted]. paddock has been in business for years that's why we used them. I would be surprised if they last the balance of the year. All of my neighbors had pools installed by [redacted], they were all started months after mine and completed a month ago. I do NOT recommend Paddock Pools, pool builder beware!!!!

Interior of pool was completed 3/25/2015Acid Wash on pool is being done today 3/26/2015After Acid Wash is completed pool is ready to be filled and started.  The arrangements with Mr. [redacted] via phone conversation today was that swimming pool start up is to be...

scheduled for Saturday 3/28/2015.  Mr. [redacted] is to ensure that both the pool and spa are filled prior to startup. There are ongoing construction items that are being communicated between Mr. [redacted] and Paddock's construction office on a daily basis.  The items discussed during today's conversation were: electrical outlets to be installed at owners ramada , wrought iron fencing, city to notify [redacted] of their passing the gas run. There was a conversation about water timer setting that is being changed by the owner; and owner is concerned about a potential leak. The items previously noted are scheduled to be reviewed and addressed per our discussion.  Once the swimming pool has water and is started up there will be a scheduled meeting with Mr. [redacted] to go over remaining punch list items.  Paddock will continue to be engaged in conversation until theproject is completed. We would like to offer Mrs. [redacted] a $500.00 gift certificate to Paddock's retail store in recognition of their value as a Paddock customer and in appreciation of their patience.

The [redacted] job is scheduled for interior finish on Wednesday June 11, 2014.

Since Paddock was nearly 4 weeks behind in completing the work, was not communicating, except to ask for payments, and clearly not living up to their end of the contract, it would have been foolish for us the make further payments in advance of the work being completed. In my email response on May 14, I stated our reluctance to make the payment in hopes that it would open up a discussion with Paddock. There was never a response from Paddock to discuss the situation. The work was finally completed on June 13. The punch list items have been addressed except for white spots in the newly installed pool finish. This work is scheduled to begin June 30 and be complete by July 3. To complete this work, the pool must be once again drained and then refilled. When this work is complete we will be prepared to discuss payment and warrantees.

Regards,

[redacted] job has been completed.  Owner paid her final payment to our corporation which would indicate that she is satisfied the job is completed.

[redacted] pool construction company is a foreclosed on corporation.  The current [redacted] acquired the rights to “rent” the name under an asset purchase.  The current company has only 1 store location in Arizona, our corporate location at [redacted]. in Scottsdale Arizona.  The corporation is separate and distinct from the entity that the consumers purchased their Christmas Tree from.  New owners, new EIN number, new ROC number, different product, etc.  This corporation can not be held accountable for any previous injury real or imagined by the previous corporation.  When we set up the account with the [redacted] we were assured that the new corporation would not be held accountable for anything prior to our purchase agreement dated Feb 1, 2013. Please contact me if you would like to have me send you copies of the asset purchase agreement. Thank you [redacted]VP Operations[redacted] Pools [redacted]

Called paddock pools for a leak Under my salt cell in March 2105. The tech came out, removed the salt cell , replaced it with PVC and shut it off. Called and spoke with [redacted], was told it was under warranty since I has it replaced in November of 2013. After SIX WEEKS was then told it was not under warranty. I waited 6 weeks-I would have had to just replace the salt cell then-NOW after 6 weeks my pool is green and they just hang up on me now. HORRIBLE SERVICE. NEVER use Paddock!

It comes as no surprise that this company is not Revdex.com accredited, which should have been the first red flag when I decided to go with them for our pool and backyard project. We started this project in Sept 2014 after getting approval from the City of [redacted], and we are just getting the pool filled and equipment turned on today, April 22, 2015. Yes, you do the math and conclude for yourself that unless you have time and money to waste, I highly recommend you staying as far away from them as a prospective pool company as possible. They have all of our money and have drug their feet on completing our project with absolutely had no remorse, shame, or sympathy that it has taken this long. We have had to call and email them weekly begging them to come out and complete the pool, which sat for at least 4 months empty and full of trash from all their unprofessional contractors who trashed our back yard. The lack of professionalism and poor worth ethics shown from the woman owner, who came out to see the stagnant project, down to the multiple incompetent construction supervisors (they kept pulling them off the project claiming to have released them), to the shady sales guy who has no business designing and selling pools.
This has been a consumers outright worst nightmare and I wouldn't recommend them to no one! In fact, they offered us a steak/bbq to have our friends over to advertise the pool once they are done, and guess what, we recently declined and told them no-thank you!
We have absolutely nothing good or positive to say about them, couldn't in our right conscientious recommend them, and certainly wouldn't want anyone else to fall victim to Paddock/Cameo Pools of AZ.

Paddocks Pools recently installed my cleaning and waterfall pumps. I left few message on their voicemail because the pumps are not working properly. I don't know what to do. Since I paid lots of money to install these pumps. I need help, please!
