I cant help but feel they are putting faulty parts in and improperly repairing.
I bought an audi a4. It turns out it had an oil consumption problem. After some roundabout conversation with Palisades Audi and AudiUSA it was said the engine needed replacement and they replaced it and gave it a year warranty.
A month later the water pump went and they wanted 1300 bucks to change it. After some questions of why the waterpump was suddenly bad in the new motor they changed it.
A month later the turbo goes out. AudiUSA, Palisades Audi and myself split the cost and put a new turbo in.
I took it in for brakes and that some other small repairs then drove it for a couple months and the engine died in the middle of a snowstorm. I nearly froze waiting for a tow truck in the from 10am to 1:30 the next morning. I finally abandoned the car and came back as soon as possible. It was ticketed. waited again in the cold for a tow truck until almost 5 pm the next night. It was towed to Manhattan Audi where they held it for a few days then said they were not going to repair it. They said the motor was seized and that since I could not find receipts for the oil change they would not fix it. I had to to pay $700 to tow it out or pay storage fees to the dealer. I went to tow it and the door was open, interior lights switched on and grease hand prints were on the interior. Of course the battery is toast. They would not help jump it to get it in neutral so it could be towed so I had to get someone off the street to help. We tried to charge and strangely it would turn over though they said it was seized. Does this sound correct ?
I was given a quote for $300 for the battery and $10500 for the motor not including labor. I am an Air Force veteran and have built, lawnmowers, race cars, drones, and large military cargo jets with engines large enough to park an Audi inside. Im familiar with the effects of oil and know that after a couple months of driving this car should be fine. I am completely destroyed that missing receipts would give Audi the opportunity to walk away from this. My business is shutting down because I cant drive to work. This was used to drive my clients around Manhattan. It ran without issue for a very short time and was on the road no longer than 8 months, less than 4 on the new engine. I have 3 years of payments and insurance on a car that will seemingly never run. Also obviously I cant sell it without covering the loan. The serious work and life issues this has caused can not be undone. Everyday is a struggle to get this resolved and everyday I have to see that car.
It has now been rotting in the driveway for several months. I was waving the Audi flag when they first helped. This was my first Audi and my clients loved it. Now I cant even talk about the car without embarrassment and negativity.

Client made us aware of his concerns regarding an alignment performed on his vehicle. Client was advised verbally and in the text of his repair order that the vehicle had ongoing concerns that prevented a complete alignment without additional repairs. See below for content of repair order. I told...

[redacted]s service advisor to contact him and refund the cost of the alignment. [redacted] has issued a stop payment for the entire repair order which includes a oil change that is not in dispute. Palisades Audi is/was willing to issue a refund for the alignment $189.95 plus tax. [redacted] has issued a stop payment for the complete repair order cost of $391.67. Palisades Audi respectfully requests payment be made for the oil change and Palisades Audi is happy to refund the alignment charges.Story for [redacted] **

Review: I purchased a 2005 Audi from this dealer and traded in a 2010 Acura. The completed deal resulted in a payment of $5,370 being owed to me. The payment was not made at the time of the closing of the deal. It was promised within 2 to 4 weeks. I probably should not have agreed to this but I did. It is now 6 weeks and I still don' have payment. I have called the salesman and the [redacted] and they don' t return my calls. I have spoken to Audi USA and they are pursuing this matter. I felt it was necessary to file this complaint since I don't seem to be getting any results.Desired Settlement: The amount owed to me with interest if possible and an apology from the dealer.

Review: I purchase an Audi A6 2009 from the above dealership in January 2015 with 48k mileage with an extended warranty agreement which Audi Sales Representative indicatied was "Bumper to Bumper". Since purchase I had nothing but internal/engine issues (radiator/leakage, intake manifold gasket, and fuel injector damages). The initial problem fixed was the radiator/leakage however the servicing department for this business has now stated that my warranty is at a minimal level and cannot cover the injector parts - thus meaning, I would have to pay $1200. This was not mentioned to me when the car was purchased in January 2015. The only signifying issue mentioned by the dealer was "normal wear-and-tear, brakes, and oil change". The car has only accumulated nearly 2000 miles, and it has been "parked" more than "driven" and within the servicing department more than within my personal usage.

Concerning all this, it is safe to assume that the car dealer representatives knew of these issues and had used deceptive and manipulative tactics to sell this to me. I am asking that this issue be resolved as soon as possible, and that this car should either be traded back without penalties and/or the cost of repair covered by this dealership. I envision future issues within this car. I am frustrated, dissapointed at the lack of ethical awareness concerning this dealership, and I must be satisfied and assured that all the money invested as down payment for this car is not thrown into waste.Desired Settlement: this situation be rectified where I am satified with the outcome being "non liability for repairs/parts and 2. Not losing value when trading the car in for another.

Note: if it is in any way possible that im a assured that there will be no furture issues with the mechanical portion of the car then by all means I will agree to a full repair instead of a trade in
