Review: Palm Beach Tan bought out Ann's Carribean Tan at the beginning of September 2013. October 1, 2013 Palm Beach Tan took $43.95 out of my checking account without prior authorization or permission. When I went back into the salon, I was told that "Ann didn't charge enough". When I asked for a refund, they said they "would try". When I did not receive the refund, I contacted my bank and they said to talk to them again, I tried without any luck and finally filed a fraud complaint with my bank to receive the funds back. It has taken close to 4 months for my bank to resolve. I was a customer of Carribean Tan and Ann's Carribean Tan for 15 years and will never patronize this establishment againDesired Settlement: Want to general public to know how this company treats their customers.

Response:

Ms. [redacted] requested to cancel her membership on October 2, 2013 and the cutoff date for all requests is the 25th of the month. The customer was made aware that she could finish out the month of October, but she chose not to use the services. We would be more than happy to give her a month of tanning to use anytime, she will just have to come in for that to be set up.
