No payment
After months of waiting for palmer to pay part of my truck engine they say I am on hold I have paid over half the bill and they still haven't paid anything now they won't even answer the phone so I guess I am stuck with the whole thing not a good company from me Herman

TOTAL SCAM
We paid 109 dollars a month for 3 years to these people. When it came to the wire and we had to replace our cooling fan for our Nissan Pathfinder, no dealership or service garage would be able to do it for what they wanted it to be done. All three of the places were not able to even find said part at after market value for the repair and most refused to even install it. The labor was also more than they could afford to do and I would still have to pay for the extra out of pocket which the service garages did not want to agree to either.
I sent a complaint to the better business bureau and they agreed to pay us the amount in full little did they say that it was a prorated amount of 1/3 of what we gave them. That is not what the agreement was. We never used their service so I am demanding a full refund of the total of what we paid. Don't ever do business with this company and if you are in the process of doing it, and have not paid it in full cancel it now and get what you may have paid back. In fact all car warranty places after the fact are total SCAMS and don't get your car fixed properly. The only one I would pay for is if it is with dealership it self. It may be more money but at least you are getting what they need you to have.

I purchased an extended warranty from ox car care administrated by palmer for 3,267.00 I turned in 3 claims all denied this last one I turned in was for ball joints which were worn out palmer sent an adjuster and denied my claim due to rust and corrosion ball joints don't rust but do wear out also I called palmer and they have every right because the policy says they can reject for rust and corrosion I called ox car care and they said they have nothing to do with it and the policy was turned over to palmer when I was soliced by phone I was told that everything was covered and not to worry that this was a good deal. I think ox car care and palmer are together in scamming the public and had no intent of honering my claim. I hope they sleep at night

Total scam!
On September 16, 2020 I received a phone call selling a extended warranty for my car I talked with the rep in great depth for over 90 minutes asking tons of questions in regards to the warranty. Asking if I canceled would I be refunded money without any fees.. was told ABSOLUTELY as long as I had made any claims.. I also asked if there was any certain deadline date wise if I canceled that would effect my refund...AGAIN being told ABSOLUTELY not!...I was also told the amount would be for the first month $120 then $109 for the next 23 months for a total around $2600 yet they took out $139 from my account! Then when I get the information in the mail the full amount they want is $1200 more then what they said on the phone! ...I received a text message yesterday saying my account was past due for the amount of $152.04 and if not paid immediately I wound loss all coverage! Yet the payment isn't even suppose to be due until tomorrow! ..so upon calling today I got a huge run around with first being told I need to call the customer service number in the warranty book..that is the number I had Called... when I tell the rep that he YELLED at me saying to not call back AGAIN to write a letter as it says on page 15 in the warranty book... on page one in the book the customer service number is to Plamer Administrator Service, Inc... and that's the customer service number I called... yet was told they ABSOLUTELY could not help me and to go to page 15 in the warranty book and write a letter to that COMPANY! The company on the warranty book says its thr SAME COMPANY! Palmer Administrative Services , Inc.

How does that make any sense!
When I called the 800 number in the warranty book on page one the caller I.D. says its Paylink Direct and when it answers it also says Paylink Direct...yet they have the number in the warranty book under this Plamer Administrator Services and tell you when you ATTEMPT to deal with them that they are not the same company and have nothing to do with collecting the money...when I use the background company Been verified to Google the phone number for the customer service number that the warranty book says is Plamer Administrative Services Inc it is ACTUALLY listed under PAYLINK DIRECT AND NOTHING FOR THIS SO CALLED PLAMER ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES INC THEY ARE CLAIMING!
I was told to NEVER call back and to write a letter to this so called company who deals with taking the money...so I did just that... I made 3 copies of the letter plus copies of the pages in the warranty book with the needed information that this scam so called company needs refund refund my money and I had all paper work notarized. Will be interesting to see now if I hey any REFUND back!

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: On page of in the business brochure, they show how to cancel a policy, and the detailsregarding (1) cancelling within the first days, and (2) cancelling after days I am of the second option, i.eI cancelled after days.There is no breakout of the portion of payment that was from a down payment ($199.00) versus refund of monthly payments (I made monthly payment of $115.88)The business responded with the statement that they had refunded the monthly payment of $115.88, which as of this date has not been received However I am rejecting their offer because they still owe me the $minus THE CANCELLATION FEE OF $FOR ANADDITIONAL REFUND OF AN ADDITIONAL $ I base this on the companies own detailed procedure for cancelling There is no mention of refund of down payment, or refund of monthly payments, they only detail that there is a CANCELLATION FEE OF $from all moniespaid To show this point, how would they have handled a cancelled policy where customer made a down payment of, for example $500.00Using their logic, they would not have to pay back any of the $ There is nothing in their own cancellation clause, page and of that can be used to explain their offer Regards, [redacted]

In the months that my extended warranty has been in place with this company I have had to have my auto serviced different timesof these have been major defects that should be covered by any legitimate warranty (heater blower motor, and air suspension control unit)However, every inquiry to PAS has been rejected as these specific parts are not listed explicitly under their service agreementPotential customers should be made aware that even though a system (e.gBRAKES) is listed the whole system is not covered (e.gBrake lines not covered)This is not made clear when purchasing the policy and will continue to leach money from unsuspecting victims until corrected

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The problem was the axle rods needing replaced due to wear on the axle, your representative asked him if the boot was ripped or torn and he said it wasThat is not where the damage was, it was in the wheel where the bearings were in need of replacingSo when we called about the wheel bearings the guy kept telling me he was told it was a boot and I explained it to him that when they took it apart the problem was in the wheel well where it meets the bearing since the bearings were in need of replacingI replaced the axle and wheel bearing with my money hoping you would honor my warrantyPlease explain this to me? The warranty covers the axles being replaced please give me one example of where an axle is covered under your warranty? It is like saying I will fix your door as long as the hinges aren't defective or a seal, window or handle, also if there is any damage other than wear and tear it is not coveredSo basically you won't fix the door but just want to say it so you can lure people into a contractThe boot did not cause the damage to the axle it was the damaged bearings causing it to wear and be excessively looseI can provide receipts and my cc bill showing where I had them both replacedWhy won't you honor the warranty? Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The failure experienced in my transmission was as a result of a failed clutch-pack for only one of the gearsOnce my car would reach the faulty gear (4th gear), the transmission would slip, and the vehicle would become locked in fail-safe mode, only allowing you to drive the car a short distance at a slow speed (~5-10mph) to avoid further damageThis failure would render the car effectively inoperable, which is not consistent with the warranty company's determination of a "gradual reduction in performance" Based on the manufacturer (***) and my local dealer, considering my car had been properly serviced/maintained within the manufacturer's specifications, the failure of only one clutch-pack on a transmission with less than 70,miles would not be consistent with the definition of "wear and tear"If the Warranty Company had no intention of fulfilling their obligation of covering legitimate repair requests, they shouldn't have listed the transmission as a covered part, required me to pay ~$2,to have the transmission disassembled for their "agent" to agree that a failure existed, or written the contract with legalize which greatly reduces the likelihood of a claim being approved.I am not a lawyer or a mechanic, however I am a reasonably intelligent consumer I had not received the full terms and restrictions of the agreement until well after I filed my claim for repair, despite making numerous requestsThe first time I received a copy of the contract was in late January Had I known how restrictive the warranty was written in favor of [redacted] , I never would've purchased this plan with the expectation that it would truly provide the coverage I believed I was being sold Regards, [redacted] ***
