Review: On 11/14/15 I went to Pamby Motors looking to purchase a vehicle. I sat down with a salesman by the name of Colby who went over the pricing and incentives for a 2015 [redacted] Cherokee. I was advised that getting the 2015 model over the 2016 model was beneficial because of the 0% financing, no down payment, 100K mile warranty and free oil changes for as long as I owned the vehicle. He wrote down all the numbers for me including the factory incentive/ rebates and the discount my employer qualifies for (1% off sticker price). We went over everything several times, in detail, and I gave a refundable 1K deposit to hold the vehicle while I thought it over.

On the following Monday (they are closed on Sunday), I decided to purchase the vehicle because of the value that came with it. I went in and sat with Tom Z (Finance Manager) to sign the paperwork and finalize the purchase. I was first asked to sign an odometer reading that was inaccurate at "23 miles", so I asked it be corrected to the actual odometer reading of "53 miles", and the whole atmosphere changed. I happened to ask while signing about how the oil change program worked and was rudely told "you're not a part of that program...do you think we're making any money on this car?". I was of course confused about what just happened, and as a woman purchasing a car, I felt intimidated and did not want to be argumentative. I was also advised that I would not be getting the 1K deposit because the bank required me to leave it as a down payment. I would like proof that this in fact was required by the bank.

I then asked my son who was with me on Saturday when we went over the numbers (and who is typing this out for me due to my English difficulty) to call and ask what was going on. He was told by the General Manager, Joel B[redacted], that I was not eligible for the oil change program due to the fact I received "affiliate pricing"- the 1% off sticker that came to a discount of $333. This was never communicated to me during the buying process. Had it been, I would have made a decision between getting the discount or the free oil changes. I didn't...instead, I purchased the vehicle under the promise I was getting an advertised "oil changes for life" (the vehicle also had a sticker on it that said it).

Joel told my son during the call that he would speak with Colby and get back to him. Colby called my son and said he was made aware of the situation and that he was unaware persons would be disqualified for the oil changes due to affiliate pricing program, but Management was looking into it and would reach out to him in a week.

I do not want a runaround. I was sold goods and services that were not given to me. I am not asking for anything other than that.

I feel I do not have another option than to reach out to Revdex.com, although I had really hoped the dealership would have realized their mistake and given me what was sold to me from the beginning.Desired Settlement: I would like the dealership to honor the original agreement which included the free oil changes for life. I would also like proof from the bank that I was required to leave the 1K as a down payment. This should not have been the experience of buying my first new car.
