We originally responded to the customer for a sewer back up, our technician augured the line to clear the blockage and we recommended a camera service to view the cause of the blockage, the customer requested a video inspection which performed a broken sewer line caused by root damage and we
recommended immediate repairThe customer requested an estimate from us which we booked for at least weeks and I recommended calling another excavation company that could do quicker responseThe customer then called back twice asking for an estimate and I explained to him thoroughly that we can give him an estimate but he would have to wait until we were available and that I would call him when we were readyThe customer then called back again threatening and demanding his money back for his video inspection because he was upset that we were not available to do the repair for himThe video inspection is what revealed the compromised line and therefore was vital part of the job and will not be refundedRecommending other excavation companies to repair lines that we find broken is a common practice during peak excavation season

I have not received the DVD I was promised for this service. So therefore this service was not done properly and they failed to follow the agreement . So how would I know if there was a crack or a block. Or for that matter they took a vidio at all.

Subject: Complaint #[redacted]Customer: [redacted] We originally responded to the customer for a sewer back up, our technician augured the line to clear the blockage and we recommended a camera service to view the cause of the blockage, the customer requested a video inspection which we performed and found a broken sewer line caused by root damage and we recommended immediate repair. The customer requested an estimate from us which we could do not do until our excavating division was available and I specifically told him that we were booked for at least 2 weeks and I recommended calling another excavation company that could do quicker response. The customer then called back twice asking for an estimate and I explained to him thoroughly that we can give him an estimate but he would have to wait until we were available and that I would call him when we were ready. The customer then called back again threatening and demanding his money back for his video inspection because he was upset that we were not available to do the repair for him. The video inspection is what revealed the compromised line and therefore was a vital part of the job and will not be refunded. Recommending other excavation companies to repair lines that we find broken is a common practice during peak excavation season. P & P Septic Service

Review: On or about 6/5/09, P&P Septic was hired by the park owner to do work in my home driveway, so I took the day off to be there. I barbecue hot dogs and had cold water for them while they were working. At about 12:30 pm they were all most completely done with their work, so I left for my job. I came home after work to find a hole in my indoor/outdoor carpet in my yard.

I spoke with my property manager, and to the P&P office to complain, to no avail. After getting no results, I let it go.

Around 3/25/13 I heard a vehicle backing up by my window. I look out to see P&Ps van. I open my window to see [redacted] and [redacted]. I said hi to them and asked what was going on. They said they were working on a drain. All of the sudden, [redacted] said for me shut up or he’d cut another piece of my carpet!! I looked at [redacted], and then asked [redacted] “what did you do with that piece???” He said that he took it home. I was shocked and I look right into [redacted]’s eyes and I could see that [redacted] knew what [redacted] was saying—that he did take my carpet piece. I then closed the window, finished getting dressed, and I went to work.

I called my PROPERTY MANAGER later that day and she did not want me to go to P&P because of the past confrontations. I few days later she left a card at my home telling me that P&P said that they did not do it. So I went to P&P to have a talk with them myself. [redacted], the Dispatcher told me that there wasn't any way they did it. I felt like he was giving me a hard time, so I explained about [redacted] admitting that he did it, right in front of [redacted] (the owner’s son). He said that was the first that he heard about that, and he would look into it. A few days later I called P&P for service for my work. The owner answered the phone. Knowing who I had on the line, I said that I had two things to discuss. He said Ok. We talked about work first. I told him, now the other thing is about my house. He cut in and asked “Is this about the carpet?” I said yes. And he started laughing and only stopped laughing to build up [redacted], and cut me down again. Then he told me that I couldn’t prove it, so go to the police, continuing to laugh. He said “You can’t prove it, there is nothing you can do about it, no one can”, all the time still laughing. He acted like it was the funniest thing that he had ever heard. When he stopped, I said, “I have been to the kingdom of Heaven twice.. You deal with God !!!” And hung up the phoneDesired Settlement: Reimbursement for my indoor/outdoor carpet, time lost from work and for the aggravation they have caused

We have received and read the complaint #[redacted] regarding [redacted]. Our employee [redacted] did not cut his rug nor did he go anywhere near this mans porch. In the complaint it also states that [redacted] knew that this was true, this is also false information. Mr. [redacted] had contacted [redacted] by way of phone, he insisted that he needed to be payed. [redacted] told him that [redacted] did not do this, and that because this was some kind of act of vandalism that he should contact the police. [redacted] has been an employee here for over 6 years and is highly creditable and respected. Any questions or concerns please call thank you - [redacted]

Response:

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint.

[redacted] and [redacted] are the owner's ([redacted]) two sons. [redacted] was present when [redacted] admitted to me that he had cut the carpet. Apparently, since [redacted] treated me with such disrepect, [redacted] did not tell his father the truth about the situation. However, why would Ron say he actually did cut the carpet, if he did not? And he told me he took it home without even hesitating. He was the person who brought this situation back up and convinced me that he had done it.

Review: On May 14, 2015, P & P Septic Service arrived in the morning hours to pump our septic tank. P & P's service vehicle parked in our driveway in order to complete this service. When the vehicle left, I noticed two separate oil spills in my driveway. I immediately attempted to wash the driveway with hot water and dishwashing soap which did not work. I then drove to my local [redacted] to purchase driveway cleaner. I also sent an email to the company explaining what had happened. (no response back from P & P)The driveway cleaner did not work on removing the oil stains. Photos were taken. Not hearing back from the company for a couple days, I called them. The employee that usually answers P & P Septic phone calls informed me that he did not receive my email but was willing to "not charge our credit card if it was not processed yet, or would send a refund if the credit card was already charged" the $260.00 they charged for the service to cover driveway damage. On May 18, 2015, our credit card was charged the $260.00. I called P & P on May 20th, the same employee informed me that he sent a refund in the mail. A $50.00 check arrived in the mail on May 20, 2015, not the $260.00 promised by the company representative.Desired Settlement: I would like to request P & P Septic Service follow through with their promise, and refund the total amount.
