Review: In December of 2014, I reserved Kiddie Train Ride for my son's 3rd birthday taking place on February 21, 2015. I put down a deposit of $45 to reserve this. I asked if they could do this on Bayou St. John because we live across the street and they said no, but that my street would be just fine. I did not receive a follow up email after giving them my credit card information, so I checked back with them before sending our invitations to ensure my date and time was reserved. They said I was all set. Then on February 12, 2015, I received a confirmation email from them with all the details which were correct and notifying me of the amount still owed. The day before the party, I received a text message where I had to respond to confirm they would be arriving at my home for 11:30am for the ride to begin at 11:30 and end at 12:30. I responded to confirm. The day of the party at 11:01 am, when they were suppose to be arriving any minute and children, family and friends were already at the party, I received a text message saying they were going to have to cancel the train ride because the traffic in the area was too busy to perform the train ride. They also said they would refund the deposit immediately. We live on a street with only 8 houses and there is very little, if any, traffic. I called immediately and they failed to answer. I then sent a text asking them to please call me immediately. They didn't respond. I called several more times with no answer. I then had to get back to the party where my son was so disappointed and confused. It is now 6 days later and they still will not answer my phone calls and have not refunded my deposit money. The lack of professionalism and respect has astounded me. I would have appreciated at least an explanation via phone call or in person, considering they should have been on their way, as to why they were canceling. Also, if they are considering my area "a high traffic area," then why didn't they look at the location before agreeing and ruining a party?Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit refunded and an explantation as to why they canceled minutes before the party and where they is listed in the contract. I would also like to know why they didn't survey the area before allowing me to reserve this for a party. I could have made other arrangements considering I booked this almost 2 months before the party. Thank you.

Review: We booked a train ride for one hour with Panther Productions for my 3 year old son's birthday party on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Upon arrival of the train, the driver informed my husband that he was unable to back the trailer down our street. My husband was trying to work with the driver to come to a suitable solution for all parties when the driver became infuriated and informed my husband that "You need me, I do not need you". The driver then got into his vehicle and drove away with the train.I am extremely heart broken at the lack of integrity and customer service provided by the employee of Panther Productions but even more so in the disappointment for my 3 year old son. We tried calling the main number to Panther Productions to see if we could work something out but it was the driver who answered the phone and my husband did not wish to speak to him.We feel that it was highly discourteous of the driver to leave unexpectedly, without any concern for our guests or the contract in which my $25.00 deposit bound us both to. There is no mention in the contract, or in my conversation with the employee whom I booked the rental, that the street could not be a dead end and that the train had to have a turn around place (which it would have if the driver would have stayed to discuss all possible options). I am writing this review to warn the public about a SCAM ALERT!!! This so called business is extremely unprofessional & are in the "theft" business instead of the Kiddie Attractions business as they claim. I am a Party Planner in the Kenner area that came across New Orleans Kiddie Rides a.k.a. Panther Productions, LLC via a Google Search. Not only is it almost impossible to speak to anyone, get a reply email or text in ample time...it is UNBELIEVABLE that someone (Jules) could use this reason as an excuse to "no show/no call" to an event that was scheduled months in advance. I also kept Jules updated with any changes as they occurred. I paid $200 for a Carousel that NEVER showed simply because the Owner/Delivery guy felt it was unecessary to drive to a new location...when he personally preferred the first location...which had to be cancelled due to Hall regulations. I plan to turn this into a legal matter to show this company that you can not steal from customers!! It's just that simple. This is the text & slight threat ("Bring It") I received the night of my event... Hours after it was past the scheduled delivery time. *see below

Well, it's ironic that I delivered several items

(2/3) to that same location, so I had no reason to go out my way to another city, when the party could have been held at the original location I agreed to.

It is really sad that there are people in this world that think they can get away with a crime and take advantage of others. Not Today...& NOT with this Party Planner. I don't care how long it will take but I will get my client's their money back!!

Review: I contacted a guy name [redacted] from panther express party train on 10/09/2015. I found the website on gigsalad.com to rent a train for my daughters birthday party. On gigsalad page it is under panther express party train&carousel,but their website is [redacted] We discuss the event being on 10/24/2015 from 3:45-4:45pm. I was told a amount and he told me the price and said he needed a 25.00 down payment. I ask [redacted] if I could go online to pay the 25.00 and he stated the payment center online is down and he could take it over the phone. I gave him my card information and he ran the card on 10-09-2015 at 4:13pm. A recipt was text to me which I still have. He also stated that he would send me a contact on 10/12/2015 though email. I never recieve a contract. On 10-20-2015 I contracted him to see why I hadnt recieve the contract and I was told to check my junk mail,cause it probably went there. I informed him that I check that everyday and nothing was sent. He told me he would resend it that evening. On 10-21,10-22 and 10-23rd I attempted to call him and I got no answer. On 10-24-2015,which was the date of the event he did not call, email or show up to the event. I called him 4 times that day and 6 times today 10/26/2015 and there is still no answer. I want to proceed to get my 25.00 down payment back.Desired Settlement: 25.00 refund since he didnt show up,email or call me. I have a receipt as proff.
