Papa John Pizza

Review: My son received two certificates for having a 4.0 each semester. One was for a small cheese pizza when you buy a pizza or side order. The other was a sweet treat with a pizza order. The manager originally tried to make me purchase two pizzas. I wanted to order a pizza to receive the sweet treat and cinna pie to receive the cheese pizza. The coupon stated I can pay extra for a topping. They told me I could not add a topping and they do not allow you to pay for a topping on a free pizza. When I arrived at papa john I inquired about my fee. I was told I could not get the $12 special; I had to pay regular price for the pizza. I stated that was not what the certificate says. I gave the certificate to a worker and asked him to read it and show me where that statement was written. He read it and said it's not on there but the pizza is $16.99. They would not honor the certificates that were given to my son for his top scholar. My son is very upset as well as hungry tonight. I think it is disgusting the way papa john attempts to give a free item as a reward but jack up the purchase item to cover the cost of the free item. Awful!!!!

Review: I ordered some pizzas via there Mobil app. After about an hour, I called to inquire about how my pizzas are coming. The person that answered the phone (Stacy D[redacted] stated that she was the manager and defensively and disrespectfully told me that my order was canceled because no one answered the phone when a team member had called. I then checked my phone and informed her that I had no missed calls. She then said "well, they told me they called." I then informed them that I wouldn't be ordering from them. I called back about 30 minutes later to get the name of the manager and Stacy told me that she is a manager, but the night manager was someone else.Desired Settlement: I would like to be personally contacted by the franchise owner. I want assurence that they are made aware of how certain employees are representing their business.
