Called up for roadside assistance broke a ujoint at low speeds had to buy a new short brake hose with a strap kit took 4 hours and they are charging 1300 dollars for replacing ujoint in driveline and the house are you freaking kidding me I will never use another pape again

Just for you're information I could've gotten someone out of Idaho 4 hours away and still would've paid less then a company that is less then 10 minutes away

Review: I bought brand new truck from listed location amount $144120.since first trip this truck started giving problems.when trk goes uphil power steering fluid leaks and steering gets hard and after few seconds steering jam and movies only little.so I took truck to repair one time at dealeship in yakima washington and it keeps doing same thing.then this truck went for repairs for exact 6 more times.everytime they change something which doesnt solve the issue and do same thing.they changed hoses,twice resrvoir,clamps,power steering pump,gear box.they tried to fix it but nothing works out.all this work mentioned they completed in 6 to 7 times.last time I was going uphill in oregon when thiss problem arises again and steering jammed riteway and I barely got saved from happening big accident as one side there was ditch and cars too.so I was really saved by god.I started shaking after this scene happened and got so scared that I couldt drive this truck anymore.there is very big liability involved in this issue and it can be fatal.so I took this truck back again to pape kenworth and told them how I got saved.repair was done 7 times which didnt work out so I told them to give me another new truck as they were unable to fix problem.they declined to do so and told me that we will try to fix again.I told them I cannot take another chance.so I requested them again either change my manufacturer defected truck or give me something in writing that if some accident happen they will be responsible for that.they refused both requests.my truck is there from 2 to 3 weeks now.I called johy bernardique manager of branch and also called manufacturer.they not doing anything of this problem.I already lost so much money and this truck is my only source of income.I can provide all proofs of work they did on my truck.im paying $2161.14 per month for truck.1400$ for trailer rent and 1281 for insurance.so im at great loss.please help[ me out in this matter as it can cause deaths.Desired Settlement: 1]replacement with new truck 2]compensation for my loss

The truck has been repaired as per the manufacturers instructions. The customer has suffered very little down time, he has chosen to leave the truck at this facility for well over a week.He need to pick up his truck and go back to work, we have done everything we can for him at this point.

I am rejecting this response because:thats not true.its not only I visit kenworth 6 times for repairs.when first time problem arised I went to dealership and they said they need to replace reservoir which they dont have it and will come after atleast a week.so my truck was parked in yard for that whole week and then on 8th day they called me and said part is here.so I went that day for repair.then second time same problem then 2nd time they changed pump which took 1 full day.then they said everything fine and repairs done per manufacturing.then 3rd time same problem happened I called them and they gave me appointment for repair after 7 days.so my truck was parked again for that week.then they checked everything and told me that we need to change power steering box which they dont have it and need to be ordered.they advised me rest everything looks fine so u can drivebut I didnt as it was too risky.then that power steering box came after 2 weeks so my truck was parked again for those 2 weeks.then when the part was there I went there and took whole day to fix.I went at 8.30 am and they finished working on it till 6pm.that time they again told me repairs are done as per manufacturers instruction and everything will be ok.then soon same problem happened and I luckily got saved from occuring big accident on uphill as steering jammed.when I called them again that same problem happened they advised me to bring truck back as they will change location of reservoir which maybe fix problem.they were not sure as they say might fix problem.so now recently thats repair they did and im pretty sure it will have same problem.so I told them my life is precious as im only person whose working and my 2 kids and wife dependent on me so cant take more chance. if they can give me in writing that this time truck is surely fixed and if some accident happens coz of that same problem they will be responsible.then im ready to pick truck up.but they are refusing to do that.according to my judgement im losing atleast 16000 to 19000 $ already.

I am rejecting this response because:i dont want to get involved in accident and kill somebody or die by myselfkenworth dealers were unable to fix same problem 6 times as its manufacturing defect so im sure it wont be fixed this time as they declined to give anything in writing.I wish there has to be lemon law for trucks as well as they are more hard and dangerous to drive.my loss was coz of there fault so definately need compensation.they need to hire well trained technicians not the ones who practices there skills on my truck to fix as its life risk issue.
