Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:hello, I disagree with the date of cleaning. also, this is crazy that they destroy my boots give me the run around and do not give me enough money to cover my boots. $80 will not do a thing. the average tall boot is $149.00 on the bear claws website.I was told by the attendand that the boots were lost and then that they were destroyed. this is run around.  my receipt date is 11/**/2015. I went back 2 weeks later like they told me to. then a week later as I was updated to do so.  then a nother week later.they have dishonest and now are not even attempting to cover the cost to replace my boots.
I am firmly insisting on $149.00 plus the $45.00 that I paid to clean them.. this brings the total, to make me whole again as it pertains to my snow boots to $194.00 his language suggests that hes the victim and that I have done something wrong. it is the Christmas season and have been extra busy with preparation and the care of my toddler grandchild.his email is a lie, unfair and made to make him sound as if he has done all he can to satisfy my violation as a customer. I don't think so. I request $194.00 . how dare they rob me of boots that would've lasted me at least another 5 years. with his measly offer I am barely covering half the cost of new tall winter snow boots to match the ones that were destroyed by this business.in summary $194.00 and a check is perfectly acceptable payable to me: [redacted].

This is a follow up to my first response. I recently got another letter regarding the same complaint. On Dec [redacted] a credit was made to her credit card in the amount of $125 ($80 for the boots and $45 for the cleaning). I believe the person writing to the Revdex.com is not the owner of the boots and is someone else that is trying to abuse the system. Also the boots should have been cleaned after last winter and not now. With all the salt and dirt sitting on the boots all summer that too could have done damage. But never the less we still made her a very reasonable offer. Regards, [redacted].

[redacted] brought her "Bearpaw" boots in on 11/**/15 for cleaning, and not UGGS. We don't clean the suede boots ourselves and send it to a 3rd party that specialize in cleaning them. The turn around time usually takes 2 weeks but because of the Thanksgiving week the boots took an extra week longer...

to process. When [redacted] came in to claim her boots on 11/**/15 we informed her that the boots were damage during the cleaning and offered her $80 plus the refund of her cleaning $45 totaling $125. Her initial reaction was that she will except it but only in cash. Our policy is all refunds are by check or credit card refund. Since [redacted] paid for the cleaning by Credit card the refund should be made to her credit card and we were willing to credit an extra $ 80 for the boots. If you look at the Bearpaw website the average price for their boots are about $80. When making this offer we never asked her for prove of pur chase or even considered deprecation. At no time did we ever claim they were lost. I am not sure when [redacted] called but her boots were not due to come back until 12/*/15. I am also confuse why she was willing to take $125 in cash and now turn around and want $195. After leaving the store on 11/** she said she would call us to further discuss our offer on Monday 12/* and would also like to see the damage boots, but never heard back from her. I believe the $125 offer we made her was very fair, her boots were the standard Bearpaw boots that I saw on the website selling for anywhere from $80 to $90. Best Regards, [redacted].

Review: A month passed by without the cleaners calling me about my suede uggs. Today I went to find out what has happened. After 2 weeks I started calling them about the boots. So today they said they were lost. Then they said that the boots were accidentally destroyed. This is theft. The compensation they were offering was poor, $80. This doesn't help me replace my boots. A month has passed and they were not honest with me eitherDesired Settlement: I want the destroyed boots back, many enough money to buy myself a new pair
