Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me
However, if the subcontractor is denying that they caused the damage, they are not telling the truth. It was witnessed by both the building superintendent and doorman on duty that day

the Cinek complaint was resolved, the customer was communicating his punch list directly to our carpenter who was not passing it along to our office and not resolving it, we were out to his house and took care of all open items

We have requested proof from the building management that our company was the one that damaged the elevator, the building has video surveillance and we requested the video just to be sure it was our sub contractor that was responsible. first we were told the video system was out of order that day so...

we asked for any proof showing the repairs to their system fort that day or time period after which we were told that the system was working but not recording. We have been in discussion with our subcontractor who denies they caused any damage. We are speaking with our insurance company in an attempt to resolve this. Regardless of all this and even thought there is no real proof we will find a way to reimburse the management company for the damage.

Review: I hired Paragon Installers to renovate my bathroom. While their workers were bringing in sheetrock, they damaged the ceiling in the elevator resulting in $2800 in damages. I live in a co-op building and I am required to sign an Apartment Alteration Agreement and submit $500 security deposit in the event of any damage or cleanup occurs during construction. Contractors are also required to provide proof of insurance prior to construction. The damage has been repaired and the co-op has already paid $2800 to the elevator repair service. The co-op was in touch the Paragon and were told by Paragon that they would reimburse the cost of the repair work to the elevator once it was completed. If no reimbursement is received from Paragon, I will be responsible for the refunding the co-op the $2800. Paragon since has not responded to any communication from anyone. It was their workers who did the damage, they are the ones who are insured. It is their responsibility for the cost of the repair.Desired Settlement: I want the $2800 to be reimbursed from Paragon to the co-op so the $500 security deposit can be returned to me.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Review: Before final payment, company was aware of issues with several doors sticking immediately after installation and having nothing to do with temperature change, humidity, etc.

Company was notified prior to final payment in June, and several times since 6/19/14. At first I received excuses and now the company does not even return my messages.

The doors are becoming worse as kids try to close doors that cannot properly close and the doors are starting now to become damaged as a result.Desired Settlement: Doors should be fixed. Doors that have cracked as a result of the length of time it has taken for the company to resolve this issue should be replaced at no charge.
