I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 10579178, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
although his reasoning is of course to say the least funny, the solution is fine, let him send me a check of $ 150, we have somebody else solve the tiles. thank you.

As stated by the Business.   This is ridiculous! My company installed approximate 35 sqft. of glass tile for these people on their kitchen backsplash. They supposed to provide tile...

and grout and my company was responsible for tile installation only. When I came the first time to replace some cracked tiles at their window sill; I noticed, they have no blinds or curtains at the window and the tiles directly exposed to the sun during the day, they get really hot. This is not a good combination if the faucet is close by and water gets all over the window sill. Since I didn't install the countertop, I recommended to install a piece of stone over the sill because of that reason. At least that's what I always do for my costumers when I install a Kitchen countertop. They didn't follow my recommendation and they still want me to buy and replace the tiles when they supposed to provide tile. Someone is advising them wrong. Glass tiles are not installed with silicone. My goal is to keep all my costumers happy. That is why my company is building a good reputation.

My company does quality work and I make sure my costumers are very happy at the completion of every job. Mr. D[redacted] was never involved in the process. It was his wife who hire me, but that doesn't matter to me anymore. It's a very simple repair of four tiles and I willing to pay the costumer $150.00 to hire someone for the repair.

Review: hello.we have used this company for setting tile. after short timer some tile cracked. some time later ( within weeks) 4 more tile cracked. the issue is this should be set by expert information in silicon as it is glass tile. Luis refused to do and also he refused to take any call, returned calls and returned any messages. we tried for 4 months to get a solution. we only wanted 4 tiles to be replaced and silicon for the rest. he never fixed, never communicated/Desired Settlement: we like some refund for getting another tile-setter/ contracter the 4 tiles and the silicon. as recommended by professionals.

I am rejecting this response because:

Dear Revdex.com, it has been very clear to the installer what was to be done. The reasoning he uses has never been heard by us, and is just bad reasoning to get out of a claim. he never informed us about the window to be hot/ sunshine or whatsoever. We asked him many times and called him many times to solve this, he never picked up nor returned the call. The advise we got to use silicone is from the supplier he bought himself the glass tile from. We bought the tile from this installer, not from anybody else, so he is fully responsible for the bad installation. he saw several times before installing our window sill, so he should never say afterwards, it is not my problem, he never said anything about the window/ sunshine/ heat. Again, we bought tile and installation from him. He has to solve this.

this is the only complain we have in an entire new kitchen it is just very bad business he leaves us with very bad cracked tiles. as his tiles were installed wrong by him. we expect the solution as we asked for the 6 cracked tiles ( yes he is fighting about 6 cracked tiles. he is the professional and later uses ridiculous excuses , this is his professionalism, he should have said all what he says now before installing and getting paid, not later when it is bad installation. we ask for solution as we started the claim with. thank you so much
