Date: Thu, Jul 21, at 1:PMSubject: Complaint #*** *** ***To: "***@myRevdex.com.org" Response to complaint: To: *** *** I would like to first off apologize for our employee startling your wife in your backyardOur employees are instructed to knock
on the door or ring the doorbell to talk with homeowners about getting estimates on our productsThey are instructed that if they see the homeowner in the yard to speak before approaching the door because we feel that is the polite thing to do and quite often we do talk to homeowners outside especially this time of yearBut they should not walk around your house and into your backyardI apologize for that happening and have contacted the Manager in that territory to discuss this situation with all the employeesWe appreciate your input and it is very helpful educating our employees on how to better serve and represent Paramount Builders in the community. Thank You Steve P

We installed windows for this customer in August of 2016.  This problem was brought to our attention by the customer on August 25th, 2016.  At that time we dispatched [redacted] to discuss and inspect the problem with the customer.  While with the customer to discuss...

the small dents in the aluminum siding, it was discussed that the sliding windows installed on the front second story, were not opening and closing properly.  A service technician was dispatched to the  customers home to determine what was causing this problem.  It was noted that there appeared to be a small bow in the sashes of the units and replacement sashes were ordered.  Due to the original builder of the property installing the aluminum siding with out backer, small indentations were created by the top ladder rails, uniformly below the three second level windows.  This was not due to careless or inattentive installation procedures by the window installation team, there was no way to know ahead of time that the original aluminum siding was not installed properly (by the original builder)below the window openings. The indentations are very small, but noticeable if looked for. The siding however, cannot be replaced. Aluminum siding, that was manufactured in the 1980's is not manufactured at this point.  Very few companies even make replacement panels for this type of problem.  The customer was informed that the aluminum siding on his home is not manufactured any longer, replacing the panels with new aluminum siding is not a viable option.  It was our belief that after he met with our [redacted] that the issue concerning the siding had been resolved and that compensation, via a gift card was offered and not accepted.  During my phone conversation with the customer today it was discovered that a phone number listed on his paperwork, as his work number, was no longer a valid number for him, and unfortunately, that was the number where I had been leaving messages for him.  The numbers have been updated on his file to rectify that problem.I spoke with our customer this morning, and we have agreed to meet on June 16th to review the options and possibilities to repair the siding using a "Bondo" type application.  While visiting we will also inspect the continuing issues he is having with his window units and have them addressed.

June 6,2014To Whom It May Concern,   This letter is in response to a complaint registered by [redacted] of [redacted], VA. **. [redacted]'s complaint was in regards to the questions she was asked while calling in to schedule an appointment for an estimate. All...

customers are asked the same questions when calling in.  We attempt to have all homeowners and/or decision-makers present when we send our sales representatives out or appointments. Most of our contracts are for major exterior renovations and we have multiple products, styles, and colors to choose from. So that we do not inconvenience our customers by having to come back to show the same products to another party at the same residence, we always try to have all interested parties present during our product demonstrations. In addition, if there happens to be more than one person on the deed to the property, we like to insure that all homeowners are aware of the one hen possibility of renovations being made on a property that has their name on it.We apologize if these questions offended **. [redacted], but it is our standard company policy and one that has been in force for the twenty three years that we have been in business. We appreciate our customers' taking time out of their busy schedules to allow us to visit their homes and do not wish to inconvenience them by having multiple appointments related to the same renovation project. We understand that everyone's time is valuable.Respectfully,

Review: I received a card last week for Paramount Builders, Inc - they stopped by my house and pointed out that I had a piece of siding coming down. I called today to request an estimate and spoke w/[redacted] who proceeded to ask the following questions:

1) Are you married - I said why would you ask that. He said he needed to know who was on the deed of the home and I said I was the only person on the deed

2) He asked again if I was married and I said I am the decision maker and the person who would write you a check and again, I am the owner of the house and only my name on deed

3) He said we cannot come out there if you have a husband and he is unaware - I said, why and he said it is out of respect

I find this questioning highly unusual and frankly, I am a single woman and never tell someone my marital status and they should not be asking these questionsDesired Settlement: I think the owner of this company should be made aware of this and they should change their policy. I have used contractors many, many times and nobody has ever asked such ridiculous questions.

Review: Two employees from Paramount Builders knocked on my door this evening around 4:00pm. I have a sign on my door that clearly states NO SOLICITING. It is in plain view. When I opened the door they immediately stated they were not soliciting they just wanted to give me an estimate. I replied they were in fact soliciting. The one employee, a young male, became very threatening and rude. He stated, "You need to look up the definition of soliciting". I became very upset and shut the door in their face. The other employee was a young female. I did not get their names. I called the company to complain immediately after they left and was told they would be "reprimanded". I do not believe this is enough. The young male was very rude and threatening. He was on my property. They clearly disregarded the sign I have posted because he immediately mentioned they, "were not soliciting".Desired Settlement: I would like to make sure they are licensed to solicit. The male employee should be fired. He clearly does not understand sales and not upsetting a homeowner.
