Park City Credit Union Reviews (3)

Review: The credit union reported a $40,000+ charge off on my credit report for a "conventional mortgage" back in 2009. I have NEVER had a mortgage with park City CU . They gave me a loan after that time. Why would a credit union try to stick me with a $40,000+ mortgage write off and not repo my home. And then give me a loan a year later which I paid off. On top of that they reported it on my credit report back in 2009 and now it shows on my credit report that they did not report it until June 2012. I have made several attempts to contact them and dispute it with Trans Union but have been unable to make any progress. The exact words [redacted] from Park City CU told me was "If you don`t like it hire a lawyer". But to go and change the report date to three years later is unethical in my mind. Every time I call Park City CU to try to talk to someone, all I get is "they are away from their desk", "they are gone for the day" or "they stepped out"Desired Settlement: I want this mortgage write off removed from my credit based on the fact I NEVER had a mortgage with them. I sold the only house I did own and have the paperwork from the actual mortgage holder that it was all paid back in August 2008

Review: We had been customers at Park City Credit Union in Merrill WI for over 20 years and have had no problem with them. If fact; that is WHY we were customers for over 20 years. Recently we took out a loan for a vehicle as we had done in the past. We immediately took out what I thought was the required insurance and my husband told them verbally who our carrier was. They told us they would call our insurance company to confirm. We began receiving letters that they needed our insurance information so once again, we told them where it was and they said "Ok." We assumed it was all settled. Then we received a letter claiming the needed the VIN number; unable to bring it in during banking hours we again phoned them to tell them that maybe they should look at the title they held of the car and they might find it there. After three months they "force placed" insurance on our vehicle to the tune of $750 dollars claiming we had not provided the insurance information; that we didn't bring the required papers. I spoke with "Brad" who said that he would remove the charges (as well as disability insurance they had "added" to our loan which we did not want) and that it would take about a week. After ten days I noticed the disability charges were removed but not the insurance fees; so I called again. He said that the charges would remain because although I had comprehensive coverage during the required time I did not have collision (I thought comprehensive included everything) so I was being charged for a full year premium for complete "force placed insurance" and they would not remove it.. This is on a $6000 very used vehicle loan. Our own insurance company only charged us $24 to add and backdate the collision for those three months! We were told it didn't matter; the $750 charge stands. I spoke with Val (the manager) this evening and shes aid she would work on it but did not indicate the charge would be reversed. If I had to pay a small "collision only" premium for three months I would; even though had they checked our insurance like they should have I would have known to specifically add collision but I think anything over $50 would be excessive. Is this even legal? My insurance was in place from day one; my carrier will confirm that as well as the fact that Park City did not call to verify the insurance until just last week (which is how I found I did not have collision insurance; which started this whole mess.) Any help you could give me would be much appreciated.Desired Settlement: I would like the force place insurance dropped and the $750 charge removed

Subject: My Complaint

Message:

On 1/27/2014 I filed a complaint against Park City Credit Union of Merrill Wisconsin regarding an auto loan. Management contacted me today and we were able to reach a solution.

Review: As a member of this credit union for over one year, repeatedly have I found financial discrepancy and invalid ($30.00) charges with their 'Courtesy Pay' system supposedly set up to 'assist' customers. In this most recent case of the credit union's unrighteous sequences of charges ( as one charge will leave the thought of accrued balance less than believed against other 'Funds on Hold' charges already in the system), this bank has withdrawn, what I suppose as illegally, $210.00 of my Widow's pension and S.S. when actually only one $30.00 charge would actually apply -- adding up my withdrawals that were legitimate.

I owe this bank no previous sums!

That is $190.00 of ILLEGITIMATE withdrawal 'fees.' As a rather new widowed and disabled social security member with two direct deposits per month (the second and the third Wednesday of EACH month, I am appalled that this band can continue and with haughty insistence, this time take $190.00 of my and my late husband's social security, perpetuating past and made known improper withdrawal 'fees' that domino, so to speak.

I must not argue with Kelly, who handles Courtesy Pays, because of my heart and nerve damage condition. Therefore, they have, for lack of a better term, embezzled, laundered or somehow taken improperly, $190.00 of my social security this one time. As of yet I have not received any book royalties for any of my three books about beautiful nature so as to make this taking of my SS funds more painful.Desired Settlement: It would be creditable and laudable on your part if you could help me get refunded (by billing adjustment)my incorrect fee money from a bank that now refuses to listen to a SS member. I would greatly appreciate any help or assistance that Revdex.com could actuate. Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Business
