I am a homeowner in a condominium complex that Park Management and Realty Services manages in central Phoenix (parkmanagementonline.com). The president of Park Management and Realty Services is David K[redacted].
I filed two formal complaints with the HOA. One of the complaints is for what I believe to be an HOA violation of the bylaws as a board member was added to the HOA board of directors by him "volunteering" himself to the board. In addition, I filed a second complaint with the HOA stating abuse of power by a board member after my tenant in the condo I own called the police for intervention. My attorney then got involved and sent this board member and his tenant/roommate a letter advising them of the consequences if the behavior persisted.
I have asked repeatedly for a call back from the president of Park Management, David K[redacted]. I been placed on hold endless times by Rhonda or Stephanie (members of the Park Management staff) and I was told, "he will call you back." I would ask, when?" I was told by the staff - by the end of the day or whenever, but NEVER, EVER a call back despite repeated, repeated attempts.
As I told Rhonda and Stephanie, I am a busy person, I own a small business and we are all busy. But a lack of a phone call, email or any contact despite NUMEROUS attempts to reach David K[redacted] is simply, I believe, beyond lack of professionalism - it borders, I believe, on negligence.
In addition, I have asked repeatedly for a status update on my complaints as I have requested a meeting with the HOA board of directors. I am told by Stephanie something was passed on to the board president (no date given when this was passed on but I have asked for this) but nothing else. My emails are answered by Stephanie of Park Management (although the emails are sent to both Stephanie and David K[redacted]) who states, "I will get back to you with a status update.." Then, nothing, nothing until by next email to Stephanie and David K[redacted].
After weeks and weeks of dealing with this non response, today I contacted the Arizona Dept of Fire, License and Life Safety. I am told I can file a formal complaint against the HOA which I am considering. However, the filing fee is a whooping $750. So, I will try a few other channels first. This has already cost me monies in lawyer fees. However, since I believe Park Management and Realty is negligent in their responsibilities in representing the interests of ALL homeowners, and I do not want this to happen to other home owners that they supposedly "represent," I will follow this through until there is resolution.
As I told David K[redacted] in an email, I currently deal with two other HOAs and numerous ones over the years. In my perception, Park Management and Realty Services is by far the worst I have encountered from a home owner perspective.
