Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: [Millan's response contains many falsehoods and irrelevant information that I do not feel the necessity to address The bottom line is that the hood of my car was not damaged when Plaza towed it to their facility and when I picked up the the car, there was obvious damage to the hood When I called Milan to discuss and hopefully resolve this matter (and I only called once), he told me that it was apparent that I would never use his garage again so he felt no need to fix the damage that was done to my car He told me to sue him b/c I was a lawyer (something I never disclosed to him) He appears to have done further [redacted] and other searches to find out information about me and my car --- to me this all indicates how defensive he is b/c my car was clearly damaged while at his garage His reaction is not typical of any local business owner I have ever dealt with I have absolutely no reason to make claims about the condition of my car ---although it is clear that for some reason Milan feels a need to make all sought of claims about my car and its repair history I have attached the estimate for the damage done to my car In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.AAA has resolved the issue between with me and the business and the matter has been resolved and is satisfactory Sincerely, [redacted]

Vehicle was brought in for repairs through our AAA serviceI personally was on hand for the tow to the shopVehicle was transported to our repair facility (after customer's own repair facility
refused to work on her vehicle) and pushed into repair shop because vehicle has a faulty starterPlease note that all persons who pushed vehicle into shop were wearing gloves so as to not smudge or damage vehicleStarter was replaced with customer's authorizationVehicle was brought in in the afternoon and we immediately assigned two technicians to replace the starterStarter was replaced by our "A" level technician and then driven by myself to ensure there were no drive ability issuesCustomer was then called and told vehicle was ready for pick up at about 5:pm and that vehicle could be picked up until pmCustomer picked up vehicle that evening and immediately did a walk around on the vehicle noting two scratches on the vehicleOne was immediately proven to be an old scratchWhen the other scratch was shown to us, the customer become belligerent we decided it might be best to call the police because of the accusationsCustomer immediately left before police were calledThe next day ** *** called the repair facility five times harassing me here about taking this issue to social media and that she was a lawyerAfter conducting an investigation with both technicians involved, we have concluded that the scratches on the vehicle were there before hand and not committed by our repair facilityDue to the fact that *** *** was throwing around that she was a lawyer, we advised her that as she must know there is a judicial system here in America and we welcome her using this to come to a resolution to this matter if she seems inclined to do soAt that point ** *** hung up on meThis vehicle according to *** has been in accident(s) beforehand** *** has already made a formal complaint to AAA Northeast Division and after speaking to the customer, speaking to us here at Plaza Service, as well as through speaking to her usual repair facility, it was determined that this vehicle has been in their shop for numerous repairs and has had many issues and it could not be determined where the scratches came from, therefore the matter was closedIt cannot be proven that the alleged scratches came from our repair facility, the previous repair facility she goes to or from the accident(s) this vehicle has been inWe however do find it incredulous that ** *** immediately pinpointed two scratches on her *** *** *** very quickly especially since it was dark outside with very little lightWith me personally being on the scene of the tow, the numerous camera around our repair facility that we have reviewed, through questioning the technicians that worked on her vehicle, through the investigation from AAA Northeast Division on this matter as well as the statements from her own personal repair facility, we are formally asking that this matter be closed without prejudice against our repair facilityMilan J***, Service Manager

[Millan's response contains many falsehoods and irrelevant information that I do not feel the necessity to address.  The bottom line is that the hood of my car was not damaged when Plaza towed it to their facility and when I picked up the the car, there was obvious damage to the hood.  When I called Milan to discuss and hopefully resolve this matter  (and I only called once), he told me that it was apparent that I would never use his garage again so he felt no need to fix the damage that was done to my car.  He told me to sue him b/c I was a lawyer (something I never disclosed to him).   He appears to have done further [redacted] and other searches to find out information about me and my car --- to me this all indicates how defensive he is b/c my car was clearly damaged while at his garage.  His reaction is not typical of any local   business owner I have ever dealt with.  I have absolutely no reason to make false claims about the condition of my car ---although it is clear that for some reason Milan feels a need to make all sought of false claims about my car and its repair history.  I have attached the estimate for the damage done to my car.

Review: My daughter commutes to suny [redacted] for school every week. She broke down just south of the school on route 107. We called [redacted] and a tow truck was dispatched and told us he was sent by the [redacted]. The driver wanted to tow her to his shop, but [redacted] representative ok'd car to be towed to our home address, 1st 3 miles are Free every mile after being $4.95 each add'l mile, which should have been about 20 miles total, minus the 3 free, should have been charged for 17 miles, give or a take a mile. The tow truck driver towed the car to our home in Valley Stream, and When the car arrived the driver said it was $148.81 for a total 33 miles of which 3 miles are covered under [redacted]. When we questioned the driver on the miles charged, which were very excessive, the driver stated this was based on the route HE took, every route on mapquest was between 18-22. The driver would not release the car until we paid. We called [redacted] to complain and was told they are looking into. Meanwhile we are the ones out the $70.00 extra charged. The company owned by Park Plaza Gulf | [redacted] has yet to contact us.Desired Settlement: WE would like a refund of the money we were overcharged. We do not dispute the car was towed home and that we had to pay per mile but the miles charged we could have driven to Montauk. We feel he should refund us a total of $65.00 for the overcharge of miles.
