Phil was on time and did a fine professional check up of all our ac equipment. He was a fine and complete technician. I would recommend him.

Mark E. Showed up from Parker and Sons to perform routine maintenance and diagnose why my AC was not coming on. The replacement fan / motor is on order from back east but in the meantime after attempting to temporarily install another new fan to get me by that did not work because of the fixed housing on the fan that is getting replaced, he set up two LG floor AC units to help cool down my home. Finding solutions to uncommon problems and putting his customer's comfort first is what this professional is all about.

Our Supervisor, Randy Carlson, spoke with the homeowner and satisfactorily resolved this complaint.  We agreed to reimburse the homeowner the sum of $86.25 which represents the $17.25 PFP maintenance charge and the $69 service diagnostic fee.  We apologize for the inconvenience our...

made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I have invited two HVAC contractors to survey the our residence and have received bids to replace the Day and Night system Parker & Sons Inc. installed earlier this month. It has been reported to me by both contractors that there was no apparent damage to the roof, paint or stucco. However,both contractors reported that it is impossible to access any damage to the original condensation drain pan line due to the fact that your installation people mounted the system on top of the pipe with only two inches of clearance between the end of the pipe and the bottom of the AC unit. Both contractors reported that there did not appear to be damage to the pipe above the roof and there was enough of the pipe above the roof to facilitate attachment to a new unit. The only unknown is whether the elbow below the roof has been damaged.  Removing the AC only to check the pipe and then negotiating a fair settlement with you is not a viable option.

My wife and I will accept a refund check in the amount $6347.27 at this time if you will agree to pay for any damage that is discovered after the existing unit is removed and replaced. Honesty,I don't think there has been any damage done, but until the pipe is pressure tested I can't be sure. If you can agree to these terms, we will consider the matter closed.

We sincerely regret that Mr. [redacted] initially felt that he was being deceived by our technician.  Upon receiving this complaint, we conducted an internal investigation to determine if the technician had done anything misleading or inappropriate.  We found that our technician...

had done a thorough diagnostic analysis of the system which resulted in him recommending that the condensate drain needed to be cleared and the evaporator coil needed to be cleaned.  These findings were well documented on the invoice and in photos that he took during his inspection.  Our Supervisors, [redacted] and [redacted] subsequently visited the home to conduct an onsite inspection and found that the evaporator coil indeed was in need of cleaning.  The drain had apparently been cleared by another contractor after our technician conducted his inspection.  [redacted] and Mike spent time with Mr. [redacted] and showed him exactly what we had found.  After visually seeing the evaporator coil himself, Mr. [redacted] agreed that the coil truly was in need of cleaning and that our technician was correct.  They discussed the other recommendations that were made by our technician andexplained that those were items that should be considered to improve efficiency or prevent future problems with the system.At this time, we believe that Mr. [redacted] opinion of Parker and Sons has been changed.  He told us that he will contact the Revdex.com and explain that our technician had told him the truth and that he would use us to clean his evaporator coil.  He also told us that he would be willing to contact the Revdex.com and rescind the complaint.  We are grateful that Mr. [redacted] allowed us to visit with him and to show him what our technician had seen during his inspection.[redacted]Vice President, HVAC Service

We had a supervisor and a technician go to the Hatch residence today and after an extensive evaluation, one of the control boards was replaced on the system.  As of the writing of this response, the system is working properly.  Earlier this afternoon, I had a conversation with Mr. Hatch...

I personally met with Mr. L[redacted] last week to address all of his concerns. We worked with D&N, and obtained/installed an upgraded condenser (13 seer to 15 seer) at no charge...

to Mr. L[redacted]. This condenser was to improve utilities consumption, and decrease noise during operation. I tested the system in all modes, completed an air balance, and answered all questions during my visit (see attached). Mr. L[redacted] declared that he was satisfied when I followed up 1 week later.

Parker and Sons' responded quickly to my request. They arrived on time, provided friendly and considerate service at a reasonable price.

A Parker and Sons Tech completely disassembled my hose reel and left it strung all over my yard, called [redacted] and left. A second Tech installed a new water heater for which I paid $851 to Porker and Sons. [redacted] was successful in drying out the floor but left without restoring the flooring or replacing the water heater cabinet cover. It seems as though nobody wants to take any responsibility. Since we contracted with Parker and Sons and they initiated the services of [redacted], we believe it is Parker and Sons obligation to solve this problem

My faith in contractors has been tested many times over the years. To the point that I will only make positive reviews. There are so few of them I have to do! [redacted] with Parker and Sons has my respect as a honest and compentent tradesman. He is the kind of professional that goes a long way in restoring my faith and trust in hiring a contractor to provide a service. I hope my experience with Parker and Sons is reflective of their business practice and if so their great!!!

I had 3 quotes to replace a water heater. A local guy for 1400, George Brazil for 2400, and Parker for 4300. Parker bought the one from a supplier that my local guy had found, so my local guy could not do it until he found another one. I ended up going with Brazil since they could find one from their supplier and replace it that day. 4300 for Parker? The cost of the water heater could not have been more than 1200. How much do they really think their time is worth?

Service Technician, Mike J., was very professional and thorough with his work. He showed a sincere concern for troubleshooting the problem and getting it resolved.

I couldn't be happier than with Parker and Sons. My Mother uses them too and is also very happy with their service, speed and friendliness. They are exactly as they advertise.

I have been with Parker and Sons for 2 years now and I am very pleased with the company. If I have a problem I know without a doubt they are going to be there for and on time. All of their technicians are neat clean and take a lot of pride in their work. I am very happy with them. If something does go wrong with my A/C they listen, and they seem to know exactly what is wrong and repair it right away. I recommend to anybody to buy a 3 year maintenance agreement because then your A/C gets a free check up every 6 months and you don't have to pay 65 dollars every time they come out. It really has saved me money. They keep it in top notch running order every year, and they really care about their customers. Best company I have ever found to do business with. If they have any good A/C tips they pass it on to their customers. I like that, like spraying hair spray on your a/c filter helps keep more dust in the filter, and it works. If you go with Parker and Sons you won't be sorry. Very professional and they love what they do and it shows.

On time, found the problem and gave me great information all around.

Kyle M[redacted] installed a new faucet for my bathroom sink. He was fast and efficient and very down-to-earth. He gave me several tips about having hard water and the fact that it's becoming harder every year! He took his time to explain the answers to my questions and did not try to pressure me into getting a water softner, etc. Very pleasant young man!

When I realized my water tank was leaking, I thought of all the ads I have seen on TV. Kind of liked the happy attitude coming through from Parker and sons. They were quite efficient, but now after the fact, should have called a friend for a referral, maybe saved some bucks. They did a great job though and now it is on to the restoration team to tear out walls etc.

Parker & Sons has always provided fast,professional and friendly service. Their service technicians are very efficient and attentive to your needs. I highly encourage everyone to contact Parker& Sons with there A/C needs.

Parker & Sons came to our rescue when they took care of changing out our old valves directly behind a pedestal sink. Another plumbing company said their tools would not fit behind the sink and wanted to remove the sink before changing the valves.
