Tell us why here[redacted] FaxREGISTRAR OF CONTRACTORS [redacted] ***ATTN: [redacted] ***RE: COMPLAINT FROM [redacted] ***; [redacted] DEAR SIR,THE FACTS ARE CLEAR AND EASY TO FOLLOW ON THIS COMPLAINT, WE WERE CALLED OUT TO REPAIR A BROKEN SPRING ON SAT 12/20/MY TECH ARRIVED AND DISCOVERED ONE OF THE TWO SPRINGS WAS BUSTED, HE SUGGESTED AS WE DO WITH EACH CALL WHEN TWO SPRINGS ARE INVOLVED,TO CHANGE BOTH SPRINGS, THEREBY QUALIFIYING FOR A LIFETIME WARRANTY, MRSPOPPE DECLINED THAT OFFERED SO MY TECH REPLACED JUST THE SINGLE BUSTED SPRING, WE WERE PAID VIA CREDIT CARD AND LEFT THE HOUSETHIS IS NON UNCOMMON, MANY HOME OWNERS JUST WANT THE BUSTED SPRING REPLACED.ON TUESDAY 12/23/I RECEIVED A CALL AT APPROX10AM FROM [redacted] STATING THAT HIS SPRING IS BUSTED AND WE HAD TO GET OUT THERE "RIGHT NOW" I TOLD HIM WE HAD A FULL SCHEDULE BUT COULD COME OUT LATER THAT DAY AFTER HOURS BETWEEN 4P-6P OR 1ST THING THE NEXT DAY 730A-9AHE SAID OUR SPRING BROKE AND WE HAD TO GET OUT THERE NOWAT THAT TIME I ASKED HIM IF HE KNEW THAT IT WAS THE NEW SPRING OR THE OLD SPRING THAT BUSTED HE SAID HE DIDN’T KNOW AND DIDN’T CARE IT WAS OUR RESPONSIBILTY TO CORRECT OUR "FAULTY" REPAIRS AND IF WE COULDN’T GET THERE "NOW" HE WOULD CALL SOMEONE ELSEHE HUNG UP THE PHONE, I CALLED HIM RIGHT BACK AND THE PHONE JUST RANG, I CALLED HIM BACK AGAIN APPROXMINUTES LATER, HE ANSWERED, I ASKED HIM IF HE STILL WANTED TO SCHEDULE SOMEONE LATER THAT DAY OR TOMORROW, HE SAID HE MADE ARRANGEMENTS WITH ANOTHER COMPANY AND HUNG UP AGAIN.HE CALLED LATER THAT DAY, AND TOLD ME THAT THE OTHER COMPANY HAD CHANGED BOTH SPRINGS AND WE OWE HIM A REFUNDI ASKED HIM WHY HE WOULD PAY TO CHANGE OUR NEW SPRING FOR ANOTHER NEW SPRING WITH THE OTHER COMPANY, HE SAID THEY ONLY CHARGED HIM $FOR TWO SPRINGS I ASKED HIM WHAT COMPANY AND IF HE COULD SEND ME THEIR INVOICE, HE AGREEDI TOLD HIM THAT WE COMPLETED THE JOB WE WERE ASKED TO DO ON SATURDAY 12/20/AND IT WAS NOT OUR NEW SPRING THAT BUSTED, THERE WOULD BE NO REFUND OFFEREDHE MADE SEVERAL THREATS TO REPORTS US TO YOU AND TO DISPUTE THE CHARGES WITH HIS CREDIT CARD COMPANY IF WE DIDN’T REFUND HIS MONEYHE WAS RATHER LOUD AND USED PROFANITY I TOLD HIM I WAS SORRY HE FELT THAT WAY, BUT WE STAND BEHIND OUR WORK, IT WAS HIS DECESION TO CHANGE BOTH SPRINGS WITH THE OTHER COMPANYI CALLED THE OTHER COMPANY AND WAS TOLD THAT THEIR POLICY IS BASCIALLY THE SAME AS OUR, OFFER A LIFETIME WARRANTY IF BOTH SPRING WERE CHANGED, BUT ONLY YEAR FOR A SINGLE SPRING WHEN THERE ARE TWO ON THE DOORTHE DISPACHER TOLD ME THEY TOLD [redacted] THAT THEY COULD ONLY OFFER THE "DEAL & WARRANTY" IF HE CHANGES BOTH SPRINGS SINCE THEY CANNOT WARRANTY ANOTHER COMPANIES SPRING EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NEW, SO [redacted] SAID GO AHEAD[redacted] CALLED ME ON 12/24/STATING THAT "HE HAS COME TO HIS SENSES" HE WOULD RETURN OUR GOOD SPRING AND PAY US $100.OO IF WE REFUNDED HIS $I DECLINED HIS OFFER AGAIN STATING THAT IT WAS HIS DECISION TO GET THE "DEAL & WARRANTY" FROM THE OTHER COMPANY AND OUR WORK WAS COMPLETED PROPERLYHE SAID "WE WILL SEE WHO WINS" AND HUNG UP.I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT IN THE COMPLAINTANT’S OWN STATEMENT HE SAYS "PARKER ONLY FIXED THE BROKEN ONE"THAT IS CORRECT AND THAT IS WHAT WE CHARGED FOR AND WERE PAID FORTHE WORK WAS DONE CORRECTLY, WE CAN NOT FORCE HOME OWNER’S TO REPLACE BOTH SPRINGS, WE DO HOWEVER ADVISE THEM THAT IT’S A GOOD IDEASINCERELY, [redacted] SALES MANAGERPARKER DOORS

As stated previously Parker Garage Doors has a policy and is stated to every customer the same and I quote "$plus parts and labor" this is for all repairs excluding new doors and or new garage door openersIt is clear the customer still doesn't realize WE DO NOT CHARGE $WE CHARGE $49.00, This is the service rate to show up onlyAgain I will state the facts, This customer got a garage door opener fixed that was previously broken there is no possible way ANY door company could survive only charging $after fuel, truck, insurance, advertising,labor and the list goes onAlso understand Parker Garage doors was Prompt, Courteous and knowledgeable so much so the customer sign the service ticket (faxed to Revdex.com) and paid the techThis proves the job was completed and the opener was working when we left$is not out of linePlease know that this is the FIRST complaint by any customer about price or accused deception since opening in 1998, this should be enough evidence to show we do not deceive anyone, sometimes maybe people can hear things differently and misunderstand but that does not give the right accuse someone of being deceptiveplease know there will be know action from Parker Garage Doors as we feel the company did it's job and repaired a motor at a fair price [redacted] Parker Garage Doors, LLC

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN.IN RESPONSE TO THE COMPLAINT BY MR ASH, PARKER DOORS AND MORE WOULD LIKE TO START WITH OUR COMMERCIAL SERVICE RATES: $SERVICE FEE AND $FOR THE FIRST HOUR WITCH WOULD BE A TOTAL OF $THIS RATE HAS BEEN THE SAME SINCE AN EMPLOYEE OF
CERTIFIED LUXURY AUTO CALLED PARKER DOORS & MORE ON 1/15/AND TOLD US THEY HAD A BROKEN DOORI PERSONALLY SPOKE TO THE EMPLOYEE MYSELF (RUSTY PARKER) OWNERI EXPLAINED THE SAME RATES AS OBOVE AND TOLD HEIM WE COULD SERVICE THE DOOR THE SAME DAYTHE EMPLOYEE STATED ASAP WOULD BE GREATWE MOVED OUR SCHEDULE AND HAD A MAN ON SITE WITHIN 30MIN FROM THE PHONE CALLMY MAN SERVICED THE DOOR THAT WE WERE CALLED OUT FOR AND WAS COMPLETE IN AN EFFICIENT MANNERAT THIS POINT MR ASH WAS UPSET THAT THE JOB WAS DONE RAPIDLY AND DIDN'T WANT TO PAYMY MAN AT THAT POINT SERVICED ANOTHER DOOR THAT HE NOTICED HAD A CABLE THAT HAD SLIPPED THE DRUMWE TUNED AND LUBED THAT DOOR AT NO CHARGEWE ARE NOT IN THE BUSINESS TO BREAK PEOPLES DOORS AS STATED BY MR ASH. AT THIS POINT MR ASH'S EMPLOYEE CALLED ME ABOUT THE BILL AND SAID HE WAS SORRY THAT HIS BOSS WAS ACTING THIS WAY AND HE APPRECITED THE PROMPT SERVICE AND HE WOULD GET MR ASH TO PAYWE COLLECTED A CHECK AND LEFTTHE CUSTOMER CALLED MY AFTER HOUR ON CALL PERSON AT A LATER DATE AND DEMANDED HER TO SEND OUT SOMEONE TO FIX HIS DOOR, SHE EXPLAINED THERE WOULD BE A CHARGE SINCE IT WAS AFTER HOURSHE WAS ALSO TOLD WE COULD COME OUT DURING BUSINESS HOURS AT NO CHARGEMR ASH WAS UNREASONABLE ON THE PHONE AND YELLED AT MY ON CALL SERVICE AND TOLD HER NEVER TO COME OUTAS YOU CAN SEE HE HASN'T BEEN TRUTHFUL FROM START TO FINISHI AM WILLING TO PERSONALLY RETURN TO MR ASH'S CAR LOT TO LOOK AT AND POSSIBLY REPAIR AND ISSUES WE WOULD HAVE CAUSEDI AM NOT WILLING TO REFUND ANY MONEY AS HIS EMPLOYEE WAS TOLD THE PROPPER CHARGHES.ell us why here

AS FOR AS COMING TO THE JOB IT IS TURE THEIR TECHENICIAN WAS HERE WITHIN AN HOURTHERE WAS NO ISSUE ON MY END FOR PAYINGIT IS ABSOLUTELY THAT MY EMPLOYEE CALLED AND APOLOGIZE THAT I AM NOT PAYINGIF MY EMPLOYEE CALLED THEY MUST KNOW THE NAME OF THE EMPLOYEE WHO CALLED ALL I AKED THE TECHNICIAN AFTER CONFIRMING MY EMPLOYEE THAT THERE WOULD BE ONLY $CHARGETHE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO EXPLAIN ME WHY HE IS CHARGING $97.00 TWICEI STILL WROTE HIM A CHECK FOR $THE PROBLEM AROSE WHEN TECHNICIAN INTENTIALLY BROKE MY OTHER DOOR AND NEXT DAY WHEN I CALLED SHE ASKED ME AGAIN $WHEN I TOLD HER IT WAS WORKING FINE UNTIL YOUR TECHNICIAN BROKE IT , SHE HAS NO ANSWER.IT IS ABSOLUTELY THAT I WAS RUDE TO HERIT WAS NOT AFTER HOURS CALL AND SHE NEVER OFFERED ME TO COME AND FIX THE BROKEN DOOR FREE.I DID TELL HER THAT I WILL FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINT THEIR BUSINESSIF I WERE RUDE HOW COME THEY STILL WANT TO COME AND FIX THE DOORIF THEY OFFERED ME TO FIX THE DOOR FOR FREE I WOULD NEVER HAD FILE A COMPLAINT.THERE PEOPLE ARE RUNNING SHADY A BUSINESS AND CHARGING ANY AMOUNT WITHOUST DISCLOSING UPFRONT

Parker Garage Doors service call is $(covers trip to location), We always state plus parts and labor on the phone (for 25+ years)Yes there is a one hour minimum (85.00) as most companies haveThe call required us to install parts on the machine that is
a one hour minimum once a job requires toolsI cant control what other companies charge in different facets of service workWe always try to make sure to never mislead anyone over the phoneI apologize if there was a misunderstanding during the phone conversation, we will try harder in the future to state more clearly our policy on the phonePlease know that in this customers review on *** they stated we were prompt and courteousI appreciate the acknowledgement of our prompt and courteous service as we strive to make all of our customers happy.

The company should do exactly what they stated on the phoneThe fee is $for the service call plus partsSince there were no part needed that should be the charge$per hr with an hr minin addition to the $is outside of what a and fair minded company would charge for such serviceRepairing or adjusting a garage door opener in less then minutes should not cost $plus partsThe charge was excessive and what was stated on the phone was done in a deceptive way to lead the customer to believe the $49.50+ parts would be the extent unless more time would be needed

Told me they had a busy schedule. They would have to call me the next day or two. This is not important to our claim. But good info for you to know about this company. They charged double what other companies charge for one spring! Other charge $141 and replace both springs. We were never told about a warranty or other claims made. If they would have done a good job and told us the items mentioned in their response. We would have accepted their recommendations. We know nothing about garages. It was their job to help and inform THEIR CLIENTS. Not argue with them. You can see by their response how difficult and dishonest Parker Garage is.

I will send the customer $97.00 back to resolve the issue. I will not accept someone calling my business "shady" it is not acceptable to degrade people and also accuse them of braking their property. I have been in business since 1998 and as you can see we have no complaints. If name calling and throwing stones is acceptable to this person and that's the way to conduct business then so be it. I will not lower my standards to get to this level. Mo never one time called back during normal business hours to talk to the owner or manager. He only dealt with the on call person who has no authority to discount or do jobs for free. As a business person you would think they would know enough to talk to a person in a management position. Again I will send $97.00 back. I offered to come out myself and repair the door as the owner, I'm not sure what more of a resolution anyone would need than to offer to fix what I am accused of breaking.Tell us why here...

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOMEWHERE IN WRITING  THAT THEY CHARGE $97.00 FOR 5 MINUTES JOB WHILE THEY ARE ALREADY CHARGING $97.00 FOR THE CALL. IT MUST CONTAIN IN WRITING  SOMEWHERE IN THEIR ADVERTISEMENT. ALL I AKED THE TECHNICIAN AFTER CONFIRMING MY EMPLOYEE THAT THERE WOULD BE ONLY $97.00 CHARGE. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO EXPLAIN ME WHY HE IS CHARGING $97.00 TWICE. I STILL WROTE HIM A CHECK FOR $194.00. THE PROBLEM AROSE WHEN TECHNICIAN INTENTIALLY BROKE MY OTHER DOOR AND NEXT DAY WHEN I CALLED SHE ASKED ME AGAIN $194.00 WHEN I TOLD HER IT WAS WORKING FINE UNTIL YOUR TECHNICIAN BROKE IT , SHE HAS NO ANSWER.
IT IS ABSOLUTELY FALSE THAT I WAS RUDE TO HER. IT WAS NOT AFTER HOURS CALL AND SHE NEVER OFFERED ME TO COME AND FIX THE BROKEN DOOR FREE.I DID TELL HER THAT I WILL FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINT THEIR BUSINESS. IF I WERE RUDE HOW COME THEY STILL WANT TO COME AND FIX THE DOOR. IF THEY OFFERED ME TO FIX THE DOOR FOR FREE  I WOULD NEVER HAD  FILE A COMPLAINT.
THERE PEOPLE ARE RUNNING SHADY A BUSINESS AND CHARGING ANY AMOUNT WITHOUST DISCLOSING UPFRONT.

Parker never offered to fix both springs. They DID NOT tell her what response claims. Tech fixed broken spring an left. They did not offer to come out to fix on the times respone claims. Told me they had a busy schedule. They would have to call me the next day or two. This is not important to our claim. But good info for you to know about this company. They charged double what other companies charge for one spring! Other charge $141 and replace both springs. We were never told about a warranty or other claims made. If they would have done a good job and told us the items mentioned in their response. We would have accepted their recommendations. We know nothing about garages. It was their job to help and inform THEIR CLIENTS. Not argue with them. You can see by their response how difficult and dishonest Parker Garage is.

The company should do exactly what they stated on the phone. The fee is $49.50 for the service call plus parts. Since there were no part needed that should be the charge. $85 per hr with an hr min. in addition to the $49.50 is outside of what a normal and fair minded company would charge for such service. Repairing or adjusting a garage door opener in less then 30 minutes should not cost $134.00 plus parts. The charge was excessive and what was stated on the phone was done in a deceptive way to lead the customer to believe the $49.50+ parts would be the extent unless more time would be needed.

1998. AN EMPLOYEE OF CERTIFIED LUXURY AUTO CALLED PARKER DOORS & MORE ON 1/15/2016 AND TOLD US THEY HAD A BROKEN DOOR. I PERSONALLY SPOKE TO THE EMPLOYEE MYSELF (RUSTY PARKER) OWNER. I EXPLAINED THE SAME RATES AS OBOVE AND TOLD HEIM WE COULD SERVICE THE DOOR THE SAME DAY. THE EMPLOYEE STATED ASAP WOULD BE GREAT. WE MOVED OUR SCHEDULE AND HAD A MAN ON SITE WITHIN 30MIN FROM THE PHONE CALL. MY MAN SERVICED THE DOOR THAT WE WERE CALLED OUT FOR AND WAS COMPLETE IN AN EFFICIENT MANNER. AT THIS POINT MR ASH WAS UPSET THAT THE JOB WAS DONE RAPIDLY AND DIDN'T WANT TO PAY. MY MAN AT THAT POINT SERVICED ANOTHER DOOR THAT HE NOTICED HAD A CABLE THAT HAD SLIPPED THE DRUM. WE TUNED AND LUBED THAT DOOR AT NO CHARGE. WE ARE NOT IN THE BUSINESS TO BREAK PEOPLES DOORS AS STATED BY MR ASH. AT THIS POINT MR ASH'S EMPLOYEE CALLED ME ABOUT THE BILL AND SAID HE WAS SORRY THAT HIS BOSS WAS ACTING THIS WAY AND HE APPRECITED THE PROMPT SERVICE AND HE WOULD GET MR ASH TO PAY. WE COLLECTED A CHECK AND LEFT. THE CUSTOMER CALLED MY AFTER HOUR ON CALL PERSON AT A LATER DATE AND DEMANDED HER TO SEND OUT SOMEONE TO FIX HIS DOOR, SHE EXPLAINED THERE WOULD BE A CHARGE SINCE IT WAS AFTER HOURS. HE WAS ALSO TOLD WE COULD COME OUT DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS AT NO CHARGE. MR ASH WAS UNREASONABLE ON THE PHONE AND YELLED AT MY ON CALL SERVICE AND TOLD HER NEVER TO COME OUT. CLEAR AND EASY TO FOLLOW ON THIS COMPLAINT, WE WERE CALLED OUT TO REPAIR A BROKEN SPRING ON SAT 12/20/14. MY TECH ARRIVED AND DISCOVERED ONE OF THE TWO SPRINGS WAS BUSTED, HE SUGGESTED AS WE DO WITH EACH CALL WHEN TWO SPRINGS ARE INVOLVED,TO CHANGE BOTH SPRINGS, THEREBY QUALIFIYING FOR A LIFETIME WARRANTY, MRS. POPPE DECLINED THAT OFFERED SO MY TECH REPLACED JUST THE SINGLE BUSTED SPRING, WE WERE PAID VIA CREDIT CARD AND LEFT THE HOUSE. I ASKED HIM WHY HE WOULD PAY TO CHANGE OUR NEW SPRING FOR ANOTHER NEW SPRING WITH THE OTHER COMPANY, HE SAID THEY ONLY CHARGED HIM $141.00 FOR TWO SPRINGS I ASKED HIM WHAT COMPANY AND IF HE COULD SEND ME THEIR INVOICE, HE AGREED. I TOLD HIM THAT WE COMPLETED THE JOB WE WERE ASKED TO DO ON SATURDAY 12/20/14 AND IT WAS NOT OUR NEW SPRING THAT BUSTED, THERE WOULD BE NO REFUND OFFERED. HE MADE SEVERAL THREATS TO REPORTS US TO YOU AND TO DISPUTE THE CHARGES WITH HIS CREDIT CARD COMPANY IF WE DIDN’T REFUND HIS MONEY. HE WAS RATHER LOUD AND USED PROFANITY I TOLD HIM I WAS SORRY HE FELT THAT WAY, BUT WE STAND BEHIND OUR WORK, IT WAS HIS DECESION TO CHANGE BOTH SPRINGS WITH THE OTHER COMPANY. I CALLED THE OTHER COMPANY AND WAS TOLD THAT THEIR POLICY IS BASCIALLY THE SAME AS OUR, OFFER A LIFETIME WARRANTY IF BOTH SPRING WERE CHANGED, BUT ONLY 1 YEAR FOR A SINGLE SPRING WHEN THERE ARE TWO ON THE DOOR. THE DISPACHER TOLD ME THEY TOLD [redacted] THAT THEY COULD ONLY OFFER THE "DEAL & WARRANTY" IF HE CHANGES BOTH SPRINGS SINCE THEY CANNOT WARRANTY ANOTHER COMPANIES SPRING EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NEW, SO [redacted] SAID GO AHEAD.[redacted] CALLED ME ON 12/24/14 STATING THAT "HE HAS COME TO HIS SENSES" HE WOULD RETURN OUR GOOD SPRING AND PAY US $100.OO IF WE REFUNDED HIS $291.59. I DECLINED HIS OFFER AGAIN STATING THAT IT WAS HIS DECISION TO GET THE "DEAL & WARRANTY" FROM THE OTHER COMPANY AND OUR WORK WAS COMPLETED PROPERLY. HE SAID "WE WILL SEE WHO WINS" AND HUNG UP.I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT IN THE COMPLAINTANT’S OWN STATEMENT HE SAYS "PARKER ONLY FIXED THE BROKEN ONE". THAT IS CORRECT AND THAT IS WHAT WE CHARGED FOR AND WERE PAID FOR. Parker Garage Doors  service call is $49.00 (covers trip to location), We always state 49.00 plus parts and labor on the phone (for 25+ years). Yes there is a one hour minimum (85.00) as most companies have. The call required us to install parts on the machine...

that is a one hour minimum once a job requires tools. I cant control what other companies charge in different facets of service work. We always try to make sure to never mislead anyone over the phone. I apologize if there was a misunderstanding during the phone conversation, we will try harder in the future to state more clearly our policy on the phone. Please know that in this customers review on [redacted] they stated we were prompt and courteous. I appreciate the acknowledgement of our prompt and courteous service as we strive to make all of our customers happy.
