Review: In August 2013, I purchased a vehicle from Parkside Motors. Stated in the Motor Vehicle Purchase Contract, the business stated that fixing the exhaust would be covered by them. After months of trying to get my vehicle in for them to look at my exhaust, my vehicle was completed 4 days later. Since this day, my exhaust is now even worse then it was!

On May 8, 2014, I drove my vehicle to Parkside Motors to schedule to have my exhaust fixed CORRECTLY only to be told that "They've already put 6 hours into fixing it" and "I'd have to take it to Speedy's Muffler in town and pay myself to have it fixed!"

Also, when I purchased this vehicle, the oil dipstick was broke off and I was verbally told that they would take care of ordering me a new dipstick. As of today, this also has not been honored, making it impossible to check the engine oil or have the oil changed!Desired Settlement: I would like a new dipstick ordered and for this diptstick to be sent to my home address!!

I would also like a written confirmation from Parkside Motors that the exhaust repairs will be refunded to me by Parkside Motors in 5 days of Parkside Motors receiving a copy of the receipt from me that the exhaust has been properly fixed! OR have an agreement with Speedy's Muffler to have Parkside Motors pay Speedy's Muffler directly! I only wish to have any contact with Parkside Motors regarding these 2 issues through the US Postal Service!

Review: My husband and I purchased a car (2000 Audi A6) for our 16 year old son on approx. 8/12/2015, from Parkside Truck and Auto. We paid $3500.00 plus tax/license. That night the car smelled of burning oil, we contacted Pat (the owner of the business), and he said to bring it back in the morning, he would drain the oil, and put in new oil to take care of the issue. In the interim, he discover a timing belt issue, and other problems. He said he did not want to sell us a bad car and would fix the problems and it would take 3-4 days. We waited weeks for the repairs with Pat telling us he was fixing various things. On 9-3-2015 we got the car back, the issues weren't fixed, the car was running worse than before, we took the car back, and he said he would fix it. on 9-12-15, he gave the car back to us again. Still not fix, it would violently "jump" as you were driving it. He took the car back that same day. Since then he has claimed to be fixing the car, we still don't have a car. I asked for our money back, he would not return it, saying that we bought it on consignment (Which we were not told), and that the individual would not give us our money back.Now he will not talk to me at all. We paid $3500.00 for a car almost 8 weeks ago, and do not have a car, or our money. I need help, or direction as to what to do.Desired Settlement: I would like the car back in good working order, or my money back, plus license and taxes.
